"i hope all of you finish your projects by next week" the teacher announces to the class, "class is dismissed"
the class was given this project to design a vision board of what they wish to do in the future. kind of like a bucket list but in a visual format rather than a written list.
the teacher put them in pairs based on their desk mates. of course, jungwon and seoyeon were partnered up together.
"it seems like we are partnering up, seoyeon" jungwon teases her, nudging her with his elbow.
"i guess so, jungwon" seoyeon pushes him away from her and starts to stand up from her desk, "let's go to the cafeteria!"

jungwon was heading to seoyeon's house to work on their school project together. as he was walking, it starts to rain. jungwon speeds up his pace, running quickly to seoyeon's house.
jungwon rings the doorbell, letting seoyeon know he was here. all of a sudden, an electrifying lightning stuck across the sky, making jungwon flinch.
he rings the doorbell again. but there was no answer. oh my god, seoyeon is scared of thunderstorms.
recalling that she placed her keys under the pot plant, he immediately collects the keys and opens the door.
"seoyeon?" jungwon calls out to seoyeon. no answer. this was the first time jungwon had been inside seoyeon's house. he didn't know where anything was. where would she be?
another lightning struck. he has to find seoyeon asap. he wonders around the house, calling out to seoyeon. jungwon stops at this one door. he walks up closer to it. he could hear whimpers and sobs.
"seoyeon? are you in there?" he softly calls out. through her faint sobs, you can hear a soft 'mhm'. jungwon tries to open the door but it wouldn't budge. the door was locked.
jungwon quietly asks, "seoyeon, are you able to unlock the door for me" all he could hear was her sobs and the rain and thunder outside. it broke his heart.
