Finally, the first Saturday of November arrived, and Parvati showed up promptly on time, one I'm the afternoon to be precise. The sun shone down brightly on Potter Manor, the fields looked radiant, and Ginny knew they would have a great night.
"Ready?" Parvati asked Ginny as she led her through the entryway, and into the kitchen, where the sliding glass door to the backyard was.
"Yep." Ginny smiled as she rubbed her stomach. Today she had felt a few flutters in her stomach, and it was making her very in-tune with her inside, and very out-of-it from the world around her.
"Wow" Parvati proclaimed, clearly in awe of the huge field with dozens of trees and bushes isolating the forests, the grass was fresh and green, and soft to touch, when they reached the 'backyard'. It was anything but a regular 'backyard'. Harry and Ginny had even planned making a Quiditch field eventually, when they had more children and more little cousins to play, even though they knew the adults would do more of the playing.
"It's beautiful!" Parvati said simply."You are so lucky, Ginny!"
"Oh, thanks." Ginny absently thanked her, blushing a little . "What do we need to do first?" She asked.
"Decorate, I guess?" Parvati told her "though maybe not, we should wait for Hermione to get here" as they entered the huge pavilion.
"I agree" said Ginny with a laugh, "we know what she's like"
"Should we do balloons there," Parvati pointed to one area. "And streamers there?"
"Oh, yeah, sure. I'll go finish up the food inside." Ginny had been assigned to the food. Harry, of course, was helping her. "I probably shouldn't leave Harry in the kitchen all by himself." Parvati giggled as Ginny left the pavilion, and trudged to the house.
"Need some help?" Ginny asked as she entered the kitchen, and Harry smiled.
"Sure, love."
"It smells lovely" Said Ginny inhaling the smell of the fresh garlic bread, they Weren't preparing a feast as everyone would bring something small to the event, Harry insisted on cooking as he could see Ginny found it stressful at Halloween, and he didn't think it would be good for the baby if she was running around and shouting.
"Hope so, though I imagine everyone will want some of Hermione's salmon and prawns." Harry told her "me included"
Ginny laughed and walked over to Harry placing her hand on his chest, and taking him into an alluring kiss. Harry placed his hand on her hip, and lifted her up on to the kitchen table, she wrapped his legs around him and they kissed, for several seconds, before a voice tore them apart
"Some help here ?" Hermione , whom had just entered the house yelled.
Ginny gave Harry several more kisses up his neck before jumping off the table.
"I'll help her, will you continue with the food?" Harry told her, giving her one last kiss and Ginny nodded, Harry walked out the door to see Hermione holding three boxes likely filled with decorations and food.
"Here" said Harry, walking over to her, taking two of the three boxes off of her and Hermione sighed with relief.
"Thank you" she sighed "Ron was suppose to help me but ... - well, you know him" she smiled "have you already gotten started." The pair walked into the kitchen, and Hermione waved happily at Ginny who was slicing thin pieces of lettuce and throwing them into a plastic bowl.
"Yeah, Parvati is out back, taking a look around " Harry told her and she nodded.
"Right, well I better get at it then" she smiled at them both "see you later"
