Halloween

Chapter 13.

"I just love Halloween" Luna Lovegood said dreamily as she helped Ginny put up decorations around the house, on the eve of Halloween night, the 30th of October. Ginny and Harry decided on hosting a party the night of Halloween, for all their family and close friends to come over and just have some fun, partying the night away. Ginny made sure all the family would come over, it was a great support for Harry as well, since his parents died on the night.

"It's probably one of my favourite holidays, since Harry is off the whole week" Ginny agreed, as she flicked her wand at a pile of cobwebs and made them fly into the air, sticking them on the hallway ceiling.

"Should Andromeda be arriving soon?"Luna asked Ginny, stepping off the step ladder. Luna had been wanting to see Andromeda for a while, she was particularly fond of her and enjoyed taking to her, she was sort of like a motherly figure in a way, since her mother had been gone for quite a few years, she found talking to Andromeda comforting,just like how Harry found taking to Mrs Weasley comforting, but in some ways it was worse for Luna, yes she had her mum for a few years, but once she was gone she grew up in a completely different atmosphere, for Harry it was the same, he hadn't had his mum or dad since he was a baby, so he could live with it easier.

"Yes her and Teddy are coming with a cauldron for the apple game" Ginny replied with a smile "mind you, I haven't seen her for a while, she's insisted on keeping Teddy with her for a while, I'm not sure why?"

"Probably because of your pregnancy" Luna lied. She on the other hand, had been in contact with Andromeda, and she didn't want Teddy to go to the Potter's for sleepovers for a while, she had noticed a change in behaviour with Teddy, a drastic one, not a good change. Teddy screamed,shouted,roared,whined,kicked and insisted about everything, the elderly woman was finding it difficult to cope with him, she wasn't sure at first where he had began to act like that, she knew it wasn't at her house, she immediately thought Bill and Fleur, but when she went over and observed the play date. Seeing Teddy be the menace and the two girls being well-mannered sweethearts, she realised it couldn't be them. That's when she asked Fleur, where possibly Teddy would have learned such behaviour. Fleur lied at first, staying she didn't know, but eventually gave in, telling Andromeda the truth, that it was the Potters.

Andormeda was a little shocked, she hadn't even brought them into the equation at that stage, but she realised that she only really could see Teddy with Harry or Ginny for a few minutes and that she wouldn't know how they would act around him when she was gone. Fleur spilled everything, giving in to him, spoiling him rotten with everything and more and letting him boss them around. So Andromeda decided that it would probably be better for her to spend more time with Teddy and to teach him how to behave better.

"That's nice of her then" Ginny announced fondly, she really did think she could do with a break, being 17 weeks pregnant.

A loud eruption began to stir up, meaning that the fireplace was being activated by someone who was going to come over to the house.

Ginny and Luna put down some decorations and began to walk downstairs to the fireplace.

"Remember Edward" Andromeda said sternly, looking down at Teddy, who was looking a little out of character, a plain red shirt and some pale blue shorts, along with some worn trainers. His hair was Hazel and eyes sea blue. "One toe out of line and there is no trick or treating, understand?"

Teddy felt a little frightened of the woman, dressed in a grey dress, looking down at him like a monster in his opinion "yes Gwandma" he whimpered.

"Good boy" she told him, showing him a smile, telling him without words that he needn't be afraid of her.

He looked up at her again, his eyes wide in innocence, and asked "I sleep over at Haiwy's?" He bit is upper lip cutely, something that would work to get what he wanted with Harry (that or either kicking and screaming), but he new how to get what he wanted from his grandma, and this was that he had to do.
