Chapter 16:

It was January, and Harry still hadn't arrived home, every minute, every second for Ginny was an agonising wait, a struggle, a challenge, she wasn't in the know, she has no clue what was going on, she almost felt isolated, in fact if it wasn't for her family and friends, she probably would have gone insane.

Ron had arrived back right before Christmas, the family were all at the Burrow, Ginny and Hermione rather sulky whilst the other women consoled them,but then all of a sudden Ron appeared out of nowhere,taking Hermione into a long kiss. Ginny waited eagerly,expecting to see her husbands smile in a matter of seconds, however that didn't escalate,leaving Ginny hurt, she had let all her pain stay inside her for the weeks he was gone, but she began to let it eat her up,and instead of having a few small sores she had one big one, that hit her out of nowhere.

The family almost had daily shifts looking after her, or at least visiting her, to make sure she was all right and to help her with the pregnancy. She never spent a night alone anymore, always at someone's house or them staying with her, she wouldn't say it to many, but after her sixth year at Hogwarts, she wouldn't never ever sleep alone, never.

The whole family were furious at Harry, unknown to Ginny for a short amount of time,Harry had the opportunity to leave,however he opted to stay in the attempt to capture Dolohov.

"Ginny" Luna called up the stairs in the early hours of the morning, on the second Thursday of the month, "come on down!"

She smiled to herself opening the soft white curtains and looking out to the beautiful garden covered in delicate crisp snow, almost like a picture, reminding her of the streets of Hogsmeade, and was desperately looking forward to going to that wonderful village again.

Once she got no answer she walked up stairs sighing and taking two steps at a time, as she walked into the room to her surprise she saw Ginny fully dressed and wide awake,most mornings Ginny would barely want to get out of bed,let alone be fully dressed and ready to go.

"Oh." Luna said in surprise,as Ginny smiled at her happily. "What is it that has you in this mood?" Luna asked curiously, not having any idea of what it could possibly be. She walked over to the curtains and pulled them open as Ginny answered.

"Dunno." Ginny shrugged, opening the curtains as Luna made the bed "just felt like getting up I guess."

"Great." Luna beamed at her "well I've got stuff planned for today,we're meeting Mila at The Glen, that new place in Hogsmeade, Hermione said it was nice- maybe we'll see some thestrals whilst we're there."

"Maybe." Ginny agreed,whilst keeping in the giggles. "But it'll be great to see Mila again."

Mila, a girl who was a year younger than Ginny and Luna at school, was a muggle born, who unlike most others returned to school during the year of darkeness for the school.She had managed to fake her status,in the hope that her family wouldn't be harmed, but unfortunately the Carrows found out, and upon finding this out, the Carrows made it their mission to publicly do something to her,what-they didn't know,but it'd be bad. So the DA, made it their mission to smuggle them out of the school, Luna mainly was the anchor of this,as Mila was a Ravenclaw too,someone who Luna got on well with,she was almost as outgoing as Luna was,an outcast,and a little weird.But once she had been smuggled out of the school through the secret passages-with the help of  the Weasley twins and Lee Jordan, her family had already been caught and murdered,unknown to Mila,at the time. The other downside was that Luna had been caught helping-but that's a different story.

"Yes,it was nice last time." Agreed Luna airily.Luna did love going to see Mila,but the only reason she really had arranged it was because the Weasley women were organising a Baby Shower for Ginny,that night they were going to surprise her with all her friends and family to celebrate James,even though Harry wasn't back yet,Hermione thought it would be nice for Ginny to relax without being worried sick about Harry.
