Ainsley knew how things were with Sam. She knew how she had gone for full custody of Madison and she didn't care. She didn't care if it upset him. And if it wasn't what he wanted.
She knew that she was doing what was best for their daughter. She knew that she had been let down and hurt by Sam. And he was meant to be her father. She wasn't going to but up with it anymore.
Ainsley sat in the house. She looked to her phone as it rang. She looked to see it was Sam and sighed. She didn't want to speak to him.
She knew that he was harassing her. And how angry that he was about the situation. But she didn't care what he thought.
She knew that it wasn't about him or her. It was about their daughter. And what was best for Madison.
Ainsley looked to see Madison as she walked into the room. She knew that Madison was finding things hard. And she wasn't the only one.
Evie was struggling without her dad. And Angel was only little and had Iain. She was glad one of her kids had a good and decent father around still.
"Are you okay baby?" Ainsley asked as she picked her up.
"I sad," Madison said.
Ainsley held her close. She kissed the top of her head and smiled.
"I know. I know it's hard. But it's okay. Mummy promises that she will do anything to look after you," she told her.

Ainsley got to work. She was stood by reception as Alexis walked over and smiled. "Hey. Are you okay?" Alexis asked.
Ainsley sighed. "I have been better. I went for full custody of Maddie. And I just hope I am doing the right thing. I want her to be happy. And I don't want her to sit around waiting for him. Even if he is her father."
Alexis smiled. "I get that and you have nothing to feel guilty about. You're a great mum. And you have nothing to worry about," Alexis said as Ainsley looked to her.
She wasn't stupid. And she could tell there was something bothering Alexis. "Are you okay?"
"No I'm not. Jordan has been in contact with Iain. She said she had his baby. I don't believe it one bit. And it's a mess," Alexis said as Ainsley frowned.
She knew all that Jordan had done in the past. And wasn't going to sit back and let her mess with Iain and Alexis. Not when she was the pregnant one.

Ainsley walked out of resus as she saw Sam and sighed. "Don't. If you have anything to say then go through my lawyer. I am doing this for Maddie. And what's best for her. You have let her down too many times," she said.
Sam sighed. "I'm sorry okay. Please don't take her away from me," he all but begged.
Ainsley looked to him. She shook her head. "Sorry isn't enough. Not this time," she said as he sighed.
Ainsley walked off. She knew how complicated things were. But little did she know how they'd only get worse.
