Chapter 8: The Land of No Heroes

After many hours of traveling the team arrived at Tazuna's house. They set up a bed for Kakashi to rest on and waited for him to awaken.

Kakashi: (Eyes opening) Hm...huh where am I?

Naruto: Hey Kakashi-Sensei, you're awake!

Taiyo: Welcome back to the land of living

Sakura: Are you alright Sensei? You really shouldn't use that Sharingan if it drains your chakra that much

Kakashi: Yeah you're probably right about that, but I'm alright (tries to get up and fails)

Taiyo: Try not to move, you're still very weakened

Tazuna: I must thank you for escorting me home

Kakashi: It's no problem

???: Grandpa these people are gonna die

The team and Tazuna looked over to see a young angry looking boy with a sailor hat on. The boy was glaring heavily at the team, but once he saw his grandfather, he ran right over.

Tazuna: Inari you little scoundrel, come here and give your grandpa a hug!

Inari: (Hugs his grandpa) Grandpa why are these people here, they're just gonna die?

???: Inari! Don't say things like that!

The person who yelled was Inari's mother and Tazuna's daughter, Tsunami.

Naruto: What the heck did you say you brat!? We're not gonna die, we're gonna be heroes!

Taiyo: Naruto calm down, he's just a kid

Kakashi: Guys we need to go over something, Zabuza is still alive

Team: WHAT!?

Taiyo: Wait a minute, that hunter-nin was supposed to inspect the body where he killed him, but he didn't and took him away
Sasuke: So that hunter-nin is working with Zabuza

Kakashi: Exactly, which is why we need to train to get ready for his return. Everyone, tomorrow we will go out into the forest to train

Team: (Nods head) Right!

(Next day)
The next morning the team had left the house to train in the forest. They eventually arrive in a forest clearing with very tall trees.

Kakashi: Okay everyone today we're gonna learn how to use chakra control

Taiyo: Uh haven't we being using chakra already?

Naruto: Yeah we can do jutsu already!

Kakashi: Yes you can do jutsu, but you're wasting too much when you use said jutsu. To train your chakra control, you must climb these trees

Sakura: But Sensei, how will climbing a tree with our hands help us with chakra?

Kakashi: You're not gonna use your hands, but your feet like so

Kakashi while using crutches walks up the tree using his feet and after walking up to the top, he walked back down.

Naruto: Whoa Sensei, how did you do that?!

Kakashi: (Holds one finger up) Simple, you channel chakra to the soles of your feet

Naruto: (Embarrassed) Uh, so how do we do that?

Sakura then went to explain how chakra works to Naruto and after explain everything to him, the team went up to an individual tree with a kunai and channeled to the soles of their feet. The team each had a different outcome when they ran up the trees; Sakura got all the up to the top, Naruto barley made it three steps before falling off, Sasuke made it up eight steps before back-flipping off, and Taiyo made it up five steps before jumping off.
