It's been a week since Taiyo and Kakashi left the village and they made good progress towards the Ryujin Clan. The two walked through a forest and stumbled upon an ancient village, they walked through the village and came upon an even ancient temple.
Kakashi: (Touches the door) How are we gonna get in?
Taiyo: (Looks at the writing) "Only those descended with the power of the Sun will be able to open the door" (he touches the door)
When the boy touched the door it glowed for a couple seconds and opened, the two walked through and saw several statues in different stances.
Kakashi: Wow, this place sure is interesting
Taiyo: I'm sayin. (Sees meditation pad) Look it's a pad for meditation
Kakashi: Try and meditate to get in contact with the guy you saw
Taiyo: It's worth a shot
The boy sat in the lotus position on the pad and closed his eyes.
(In the void)
Taiyo was brought back to the familiar void and saw the light coming towards him.
Red-Cloaked Man: Hello again, young Taiyo
Taiyo: Hey, uhhh..I still don't know you're name
Red-Cloaked Man: (Chuckles) Ah, silly of me. My true name is Hiroshi Ryujin
Taiyo: Oh, well that's cool name
Hiroshi: So I've been told, I see you have made it to the Ryujin Clan Temple
Taiyo: Yeah, it wasn't that bad of a journey
Hiroshi: So are you ready to learn how to control Solar State?
Taiyo: (Smiles) Yeah, but I wanna ask you a couple things first
Hiroshi: Please, I'm all ears
Taiyo: First question, what is Solar Style really?
Hiroshi: Originally it was called Sun Bending, but the years went by and the name was changed
Taiyo: Sun Bending? So is that why those statues were moving in different stances, because they were bending the energy of the Sun?
Hiroshi: (Smirks) You catch on quick
Taiyo: Second question, why do you have to die for the power to pass on to your child
Hiroshi: It is because two Solar Style users can not coexist together because the energy from them will cause destruction, so that is why the power must pass on when we die
Taiyo: Wow, that kinda makes sense I guess. My final question, who are my parents?
Hiroshi: (Takes a deep breath) I'm your father, my boy
Taiyo: (Shocked) What?
Hiroshi: I'm sorry for not telling you and leaving you for all these years
Hiroshi felt something collide into him and looked down to see his son latched onto him, the man didn't hesitate to hug him back.
Taiyo: (Crying) Don't apologize dad, you did what had to do
Hiroshi: (Tears up) It makes me so happy to hear you
Taiyo: (Looks up at him) So whose's my mother?
Hiroshi: (Smiles) Her name was Akane Shinjuka
Taiyo: I'm so happy to finally know who my parents are
Hiroshi: And I'm happy to finally hug my son after all these years. So are you ready to learn how to control Solar State?
Taiyo: (Smirks) You bet I am!
Hiroshi: It will take a long while
Taiyo: I'm ready!
(Back in the real world)
Taiyo opened his eyes and saw Kakashi reading his book.
Kakashi: Ah you're awake, so how did it go?
Taiyo: (Smiles) Hiroshi Ryujin is my father
Kakashi: So it was him that met during your meditation sessions
Taiyo: (Walks up to him) I wanna tell you something
Kakashi: What's up, kid?
Taiyo: Since you became my Sensei, you've been a great help and guidance for me. I wanted to thank you for all your help over the months we've been together
Kakashi: (Eye smiles) Well you're welcome, kid
Taiyo: I also wanted to say that you've been like a father to me and I care for you a lot
Kakashi: (Shocked) Wow kid, you really know how to make an old man like me happy
He brings Taiyo in for a tight hug.
Kakashi: You've been like a son to me for a little while
Taiyo: (Pulls away) My father told me the basics of Solar State and what do, but it will take a long time
Kakashi: We've got two years to kill, so let's learn all we can. (Pulls out a scroll) I also found this while snooping around
Taiyo took the scroll and saw the title of it.
Taiyo: "Dragon Summoning"? (Smirks) I suppose we should get to work, huh?
Kakashi: I'm with you till the end, kid
Taiyo: Let's do this!
Some say that legends start with a beginning, but really they start with the ending because that's when the main character finds who they truly are. For our hero, Taiyo Shinjuka, his legend is truly about to begin in two years.
