It's been a few days and Taiyo had gotten out of the hospital, he went home and slept in his bed for the first time in a while. It was now early in the morning and Taiyo was woken up by knocking from his door, he got up to answer his door and he was surprised by his guest
Taiyo: Naruto, what are doing here?
Naruto: Hey Taiyo, I just thought I ask if you wanted to hang out today?
Taiyo: (Smiles) Sure, let me get dressed
After Taiyo got dressed, he and Naruto set off in the village.
Taiyo: So what did you wanna do today?
Naruto: Honestly I have no idea
Taiyo: (Deadpans) You're serious aren't you?
Naruto: Yup
Taiyo: Why don't we go get some ramen?
Naruto: (Gets excited) That sounds like a perfect idea
The two went towards Ichiraku Ramen; they arrived, sat down, and ordered their food.
Taiyo: So is there something going on, man?
Naruto: (Chuckles) I guess nothing can past you, but today is the day I'm leaving for my trip
Taiyo: What?
Naruto: Yeah, crazy right?
Taiyo: You're telling me. So you wanted to hang out with me because you want to feel happier before you go?
Naruto: Sure let's go with that
Taiyo: (Gets an idea) Well if you're leaving today, I wanna do something
Naruto: What's that?
Taiyo: (Smiles) You'll see
The two ate their ramen and left after paying, the duo went to a spot in the forest and sat down.
Naruto: (Confused) So why'd bring us here?
Taiyo: Today we're officially gonna become brothers
Naruto: (Shocked) Huh, what do you mean?
Taiyo had ran home to get his bag before so he could store something in there, he reached into his bag and took out a bottle of sake.
Taiyo: (Holds out sake) We'll become brothers by sharing a glass of sake
Naruto: It's that easy?!
Taiyo: For us, yes
He pours some sake into two cups and gives one to Naruto, they both hold up their cups.
Taiyo: Today we're honest to goodness brothers
Taiyo and Naruto: (Clink their cups) Brothers!
They both drink the sake and immediately spit it out because it did not taste any good.
Taiyo: Ewww, that worse than I thought
Naruto: (Rubbing his tongue) It's burning me!
Taiyo: We'll make sure to do this again when we get him back
Naruto: (Smirks) Right!
Taiyo: (Smirks) For now let's focus on our training and get you to Jiraiya-Sensei
(A couple minutes later)
The two had arrived at the village gates where they saw Jiraiya was waiting.
Jiraiya: (Looks up and smiles) Oh hey kids, you're right on schedule! Now come on Naruto, let's go
The man had walked away and the two boys faced each other.
Taiyo: (Frowns) Well I guess this is goodbye for two years
