"ARE YOU KIDDING?" Janelle yelled. She finally got a full tour of The Spider Society HQ. Her mouth gaped open when she saw everything. Lyla appeared right next to her "Pretty impressive right?"

"I can't believe there's all of these different universes out there. I'm not the only one" Janelle laughs, still in shock. "Of course you're not. Everyone in this HQ has the same story" Lyla explained

"Or either is the same person." Hobie added. "What do you mean?" Janelle asked. Gwen stepped in "Believe it or not, most of the Spider-Man's names here are Peter Parker"

"Yes?" A crowd of Spider-Men respond including Peter. Janelle nodded her head as if she understood. "Don't forget about the Gwen's too. But I'm the only Spider-Gwen" Gwen said

Janelle was so fascinated "So there's a possibility that I might not be the only Janelle Reyes?!"

"Possibly" Gwen said. The group continues walking until they reached Miguel's office.
"Miguel! She successfully finished the mission" Lyla pointed out, appearing next to Miguel. He turned to her with a unexpressed face. Him and Janelle had a stare-off. "Good."

That's all he said. Miguel kept swiping his screens, once he realized that they were still there, he sighed "What are you guys still doing here?"

"Um hello Miguel. Give her something other than just a good" Lyla told him. Miguel groaned "I am not doing that. You will be contacted if needed" He told Janelle

Jessica opened up a portal to Janelle's universe. "It's time to go, Janelle. You did good. Peter and I are your mentors. If you need help, don't hesitate to give us a beep" Jessica said

Peter whined "I wished you could've met Mayday. She's the sweetest kid, oh my gosh..."

Gwen maneuvered Janelle towards the portal "Go while you still can. Literally like go" She chuckles. As she was about to step through, she looked at Hobie

"See you next time, teammate?" Janelle asked him, raising her fist. "Teams are for people who have abandonment issues and count on other people" He said so nonchalant

Janelle was stuck, how was she supposed to respond to that? She lowered her hand. Hobie saw the look on her face, he straightened himself out and fist bumped her "But yes, see you later"

"I guess I'll meet Margo later on?" Janelle told Gwen. "Yeah besides I think she's a little busy. Now you really better go, Peter is almost done with his monologue" She said

Laughing, Janelle walks through the portal, leaving the room. "And yeah, that's really it. But she's a cutie." Peter looked around for Janelle "Where did she go?"

"Home and you should too" Jessica walked away. Peter followed her, doing his job, talking his head off. Miguel and Lyla continued working

Hobie and Gwen walked around HQ. "So what do you think of Janelle?" Gwen asked him. Hobie mumbled. "You're mumbling, Hobie" She said

"She's cool."

Gwen eyed Hobie "You're lying." She laughs. Hobie smacked his teeth "I ain't got nothing to lie about."

"You think she's cute! I'll admit, she's pretty but youuuuuu. I think you have a little crush" Gwen pinched Hobie, he shook her off "I don't even know her"

"So you're admitting that you want to get to know her? Hmmm" Gwen stopped talking. She started to slyly smile before walking ahead with Peter and Jessica

Hobie watched Gwen walk away. All he had on his mind was Janelle. But another thing on his mind was how he doesn't like when people can tell he's lying

He really doesn't like it.

With a harsh landing, Janelle fell on top of a AC outdoor unit. "Motherfu-" She yelled. A large roar caught her attention. She sat up to a very familiar tail, one she knows too well

It was Lizzy, the mutant lizard-crocodile. Janelle tossed her head back in exhaustion "Why did I become Spider-Woman?" She sighs as she taps her web slingers to fight Lizzy

"Lizzy!" Banshee yelled. Lizzy snarled once she saw Banshee. "Banshee!" Her voice gargled. "Oh I'm sorry bookie, does your voice hurt? Water? Do you need some water?" Banshee yelled

Lizzy swung her tail to attack. She hit Banshee in her stomach, flinging her into a building. "I'm so tired" Banshee whispered

Across town, Tyre and Jayla were walking from the library, on the way to the gym. "Yo, have you seen Janelle lately?" Tyre said. Jayla shook her head "No, I haven't. And it's weird because she texts me everyday"

"Let's see if Kanai has seen her. She might have been joke all this time" Jayla said again. Tyre nodded his head. After a moment of silence, Jayla looked up at Tyre "How are you and Janelle?"

Tyre sighed "Honestly I don't know. She's been busy, she stopped sharing locations with me, and most importantly, she stopped sending me good morning texts"

Tyre stops for a second, Jayla wondered why he stopped. "I just wished she was more like our Janelle, not the new one"

Jayla placed her hand on Tyre's shoulder. "It will all get better, I'm sure of it" Jayla turned Tyre to her by his shoulders. Tyre looked into Jayla's eyes, he never noticed the glisten in her eyes

He smiles "Yeah I'm pretty sure it will"

Jayla lets him go "Now let's go to the gym. I'm sure Janelle will text back soon"

As they were walking, Banshee Spider swung above them. Tyre and Jayla look up "Oh look it's Banshee Spider. Imagine what it would be like to be Spider-Woman for a day?" Jayla said

"Yeah I wonder. Hey, what if one of our friends was Banshee?" Tyre asked. Jayla laughed "That will be something to see!"

Hey y'all. A little authors note, the reason why I haven't been updating as usual is because I am currently in band camp. Yes, your girl is a dancer for the band. Our times are literally from sunrise to sundown, like 7:45 am to 11 pm including a meeting for all the new members every night

But I promise this weekend, I will update more because we have a little break. I love y'all <3
