(slight smut)

"OKAY, LETS GET STARTED. Your name is Janelle Reyes?"

"That's correct"

"And your parents?" The counselor looked up from her clipboard. Janelle is sitting with her school papers along with Peter and Jessica in their dressed best.

(Janelle's POV)

Miguel gave the okay for me to start school again. He said 'of course, young padawan. You may continue on with your journey'...Actually, his words were 'Don't make me regret my decision' but I got this in the bag.

(POV over)

"Mr and Mrs Parker?" She questioned. Peter tightened his suit "That's us."

That statement didn't look believable, she went back to her computer. Janelle whispered to Peter "I told you this would be more believable if we had Miguel"

Peter rolls his eyes "Oh what so now I can't have a black daughter? The world is so backwards"

Janelle rolls her eyes before she heard a click. "Alright. Since this is the middle of the school year, some of the classes might be full already but I will have your schedule made in just a bit. For right now, your parents can sign these papers and you'll be good to go"

The counselor handed Peter and Jessica who started on the paperwork right away. "You start tomorrow. Ms. Delegates will be your home room teacher, your room assignment and roommate will be sent to you via email. Welcome to Visions Academy"

"Thank you so much" Janelle thanked her. "Here is your uniform. And here is your schedule." The counselor handed Janelle a piece of paper and a package of clothes. After a few minutes, Jessica and Peter handed the counselor with the paperwork

"Alright. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow during spring move-in!" The counselor smiled. Janelle, Peter, and Jessica all walked out of the office. "Well, you are officially enrolled. Hope you're happy, kid" Peter said walking out of the school

"I am happy. I get to continue my studies and finally be able to get back on track" Janelle happily exclaimed. "You know you can always visit us whenever you need to. Do you need help packing?" Peter asked

"I don't think so. I don't have that much stuff." Janelle said. "Alright well. Good luck. Oh and we are getting first day of school pictures, are we?" Peter asked. Janelle laughed "Yes y'all can"

Peter was so giddy and Jessica smiled. "Bye, Janelle" Both adults left to go back to HQ. They had a busy day. It's time to go home. Janelle found an empty alley where she can open a portal. But when she stepped through, she was surprised to see that Hobie was not home

"Hobie?" She called. No answer. Just as she was about to panic, she saw a note on the desk.
