Al Jones was a hard working man. He and his wife Emma were actually part of the cut. But they worked hard to get the cheapest house on figuere 8. Which resulted in the middle class. Although they thought it was important that they preferred to pretend to be a kook. The couple has 3 children. Everything was going well until Brooke was born, she had a serious illness and the medicines were too expensive. There was no future for them in obx so Al looked for a job in New York. Al died right before Finn was born. The doctor said cancerheart disease was the cause. But none of them knew that he suffered from this disease. According to his daughters, it was because of stress or because he wasn't happy anymore... Emma fell into a depression and drank away her problems. So everything ended up on her 3 eldest children.

Coraline , or Cori as they also call her, is the eldest of the 3 children of the Jones couple. she is a pretty, smart, loyal girl with a big hard one you might say the mother of the group but not in an annoying way. She is never angry. But if you get her to, oh boy. Run! She was born in obx. She was a smart and exemplary student. She got good grades and did her best in school. Now she may come across as a nerd, but she certainly wasn't. She had many friends. But she was not so popular either.

One day Cori was on her way home from school. When she was stopped by Topper and his friends. You should know that he had a crush on her, normal people could handle it by being nice, but Topper did the opposite. He had already given her subtle hinds, but Coli had kindly rejected them. He got tired of waiting and stopped her after school. When Topper and his death sqate stopped her, she was shocked. But she tried to act tough. When the boys slowly went too far and Coli couldn't get out, a young boy ,came out of her class, chased Topper and his pals away. She had seen the boy before at school, thought he was cute, but never really spoke to him. He made sure she was okay and brought her home. the day after and after and after that they also talk to each other at school. Topper left her alone. Until he waits for her again after school, she decided to teach him a lesson. Coli hid behind a bush and waited patiently for Topper to come looking for her. As she predicted, he came too. She waited until he got close enough and then pulled a rope that made a net he was standing on scooped him up and into the tree. She was proud of herself. But what she hadn't counted on was Rafe coming. He ordered her to let Topper go. "Untie him or I'll make you-"
Then John B came up. He moved in front of Coli and pushed Rafe aside. He and Topper quickly took off. Since that day they became best friends. John B picked her up before school every morning and brought her home every night so Topper couldn't hurt her anymore. In return, he got her friendship.

Things were going well until her father was offered a job in New York, they desperately needed the money as Cori's little sister was sick. When she went to tell John B the news, they were both devastated. Saying goodbye was hard. They kept in touch until Al died. Coli was too busy raising her sister and brother alone. Emma was a mess and had just given birth to Finn. She had begun to drink away her grief. John B was sorry he couldn't be there for his best friend. The pressure
change Coli completely. She was first a carefree, happy and social child. But afterwards she became rather withdrawn and a mother type. She put aside her schoolwork to be there for her siblings.

Brooke, or Brooky was Coli's 2 years younger sister. She was diagnosed with asthma at birth. she is a beautiful, fearless, brave, sercastic, thinly built, loving teenager. She never goes off. But when she's done, she's really done. and you know it. Because of her illness she could not go to school. She had heavy attacks at involuntary moments. Her parents didn't have the money for expensive medication, so most of the time it was just suffering. It made her brave and taught Brooky to hide her feelings. She was born in obx but she couldn't remember much about it.
