Kafka wasn't back yet, but Blade was, a mara struck Blade. Elios and Silver Wolf have left for something else. Sam is never home. That just left her, the medic to deal with this monster. (Y/n) can't fight her way out of a wet paper bag. She's been hiding for a few hours now. Hearing him trudging around looking for her was scary, his animalistic growling was all she could hear from his mouth.
'I was not trained to deal with mara!'
"(Y/n)... stop hiding!"
(Y/n) was afraid, terrified even. This man was some how more scary than he usually is. She was well hidden inside a basket of clothing. She's heard him pass her by twice. Then he came back, kicked the basket over in frustration.
"you..." a hand grabbed her by the throat and lifted her into the air. Her toes couldnt touch the floor. "Blade... please stop!" (Y/n) whimpered. She could feel her consciousness fading. Blade eyed the woman, watching her struggle for air. his grip tightened around her neck. (Y/n) watch as her vision slowly darkened, like watching a piece of paper burn away revealing a black nothingness behind it. In her fading vision she saw... was his glowing red eyes glaring into hers.
She stabbed her syringe into his into his limb, he dropped her and she weakly dragged her body out to hide somewhere else. She ignored his screams and the eventual thud of his body falling.
(Y/n) tried to reach her bed but fainted before locking the door. Her last memory was the door opening to show a livid but tired looking Blade approaching and picking her up.
Blade leaned into (Y/n)'s neck. This worked better than Kafka. Sleep finally welcomed him. There was something about (Y/n) that calmed him. Probably the fact that she has never once been hostile to him. Or the kind of care she treated him with. She even tried finding a way to get rid of his immortality for a time. She was soft and warm.
He wouldn't mind doing this often.
But (Y/n) did.
