New Faces

Chandler was the first one to get off the car. Hindi niya tinigil ang kotse malapit sa may umuusok na area. They had to stop it in a distance to check the area first. May bumabagabag sa kanyang isip. Ang usok na nakita niya, that would possibly distract the zombies. They will head there and the people or the survivors they thought that was staying on that area will be in danger. Kaya walang tao na may matino pang pag-iisip ang gagawa nito.

Sumunod na bumaba ang mga kasamahan niya. They were all alert walking up that hill. Si Anthony at Jerome ang nasa hulihan.

They heard a rustle somewhere. Sabay-sabay silang napalingon sa tunog na 'yon but there's no one.

"Are we being watched?" Tanong ni Alexandra. When she turns around, a zombie is in front of her, ready to eat her up. Napasigaw siya sa takot. Natumba siya at nasa ibabaw ang babaeng zombie. It's good that the shotgun she's holding is in between them but she can't take the weight of that zombie forever.

Chandler came and hit the zombie's head with gun. Napahiga ito pero hindi enough para mamatay. Alexandra got the chance to stand up. Sa sobrang gigil at inis ay siya na ang tumapak sa ulo ng zombie and it break easily. The skull is soft.

"Are you okay?" Chandler asked. Tumango siya at ibinaba ang tingin sa damit. She smells bad now.

"Let's go." Pagbabalewala niya sa nangyari but the truth is she's in shock and scared of these things, of what to do in this kind of situation. Nilalabanan niya na lang ang takot. Siya ngayon ang nanguna sa paglalakad.

They've finally reached the destination pero hindi nila inaasahan ang nakita. Alam na nila ngayon kung bakit may usok.

Body's are on pile and burning. May ibang zombies na naroon dahil sa usok at amoy. But they see Chandler's group. Ngayon, sila naman ang sinugod.

Nagpaputok ng maraming bala si Chandler sa kanila but more is coming out of nowhere. Anthony helped to shoot them. Ganon din ng mga girls. But they were not good at it. They can't shoot their head. Kaya nakakatayo pa rin ang mga nakakatakot na bagay na ito at patuloy na lumalapit sa kanila.

They're trapped. Wala na silang matatakbuhan dahil nakapalibot na sa kanila ang mga zombies.
Anthony's the one shooting behind them while Chandler is in front. Ang mga babae ay tumulong na lamang sa pagtira ng kanilang knife sa ulo ng mga kalaban. Ngunit hindi enough. They're too many and they can't handle it.

"Kuya!"

Narinig ni Chandler ang sigaw ng kapatid. It worries him. Inubos niya muna ang mas malapit sa kanya bago hinarap ang kapatid.

Chloe's on the ground already, two zombies are on top of her. She's trying to fight them. Sila Jennifer at Alexandra ay busy rin sa pagpatay ng mga 'to.

Hindi nagdalawang isip si Chandler na lapitan ang kapatid at ginamit ang dagger na laging tinatago saka sinaksak ito sa ulo ng mga zombies na nakapatong kay Chloe. He moved them so he can help her stand. Mabilis ang pangyayari kaya bumalik muli sila sa pagpatay ng mga kalaban.

"There's a way on the right! Once we clear a space, we all go that way. Do you guys hear me?" Si Jerome.

"Let's do it!"

They clear one side so they can have a chance to run. Nanguna si Jerome na makatakbo.
"Come on!" He kept on shouting. Sumunod si Jennifer pagkatapos ay si Anthony at Alexandra na hinila na si Chloe. Chandler has to kill three more zombies before he could follow.

Sa woods sila napunta. Yes, there was space but there were more coming so they have to run until they find a safe place.

Pero natigil sila pare-pareho nang makarinig sila ng maraming putok ng baril sa kung saan.
"Keep running!" Ani Chandler sa mga kasama so they did. But they have to stop when three other people showed in front of them. Mas matatanda ang mga ito at mas malalaki ang mga katawan.
