This man was going to be the death of me. Did this land have some sort of spell that made me feel this way? I walked by the water later on in the day and I saw Yuxuan swimming around earlier.
Without any clothes.
You heard it. Yuxuan was all natural.
Did I think he looked more attractive? Yes. Was that a good sign? No. My father raised me with proper morals. I was to abstain until marriage.
But every time I kept thinking of that, I wondered what exactly was stopping me from marrying Yuxuan. Well, a couple of things. First, a church. Second, The lack of official documents. Third, I didn't know him that well.
The language barrier between him and him wasn't making it any better.
Yuxuan caught me staring at him, several times. No, I wasn't staring at him while he bathed. I was staring at him while he was clothed.
But was that any better?
There was no doubt that Yuxuan knew why I kept looking at him. He couldn't understand English, but he could read the room extremely well. I wouldn't be surprised if he knew I was attracted to him.
I left London because I wanted to avoid marriage, but here I was in a country where I wanted to kiss a man senselessly. Curse the one who created him. It's not fair that I'm the only one feeling this way.
A group of flowers were held in my line of sight. I raised my eyes to Yuxuan and took them. "Red one's this time, hmm? These are pretty."
"You..." Yuxuan sat close to me. "You are... pretty."
"Oh." My lips parted slightly. I taught him more adjectives, and words used to describe. I guessed he was repeating the word to add it to his vocabulary. If he had meant it, my heart would've melted. "Thank you. I suppose you're quite handsome,"
"Handsome?"
"Mhmm, nice to look at." I pinched his cheek, playfully. "In London, you'd be an interesting sight. Strong and tall, intense..." I lowered my voice, jokingly.
Yuxuan stared at me as if he were amazed by my theatrics. "London,"
"London...?"
"Where?"
"I lived there. Lived. Past tense." I explained. "I came... from London."
"London... your people?"
"Yes, my people... from London."
"Alex..." Yuxuan called, before saying a few words in his own language. I waited for him to finish.
"Alex... my people."
"Oh? Your people? Is it a tribe? Where are your people?"
I was very interested. Hansel said he belonged to a tribe. Maybe he was trying to explain where he came from. Or maybe, I could learn more about who he was.
"No," Yuxuan shook his head. "Alex... my people,"
"Yes?"
"My people... My... my..." Yuxuan gestured at me.
"Mine?..."
"You... Alex..." Yuxuan tried to explain. "Mine... my people." I still didn't understand him. Yuxuan cupped my face unexpectedly and pressed his lips next to the corner of mine. "Alex. Mine."
Woah. What just happened?
"Me?" Was he saying what I think he was? Maybe I was overthinking. My Translation wasn't entirely the best.
