"i don't think this is a good idea anymore" Wooyoung was on the verge of turning on his heels and run away so that he didn't have to walk inside that house he pushed himself in front of.

He felt so stupid for accepting to come to the party knowing damn well San was there, what could he do in case they met? Start talking as if nothing of what the last time they saw each other had happened? No way that was going to happen but the scene was completely the opposite of what he had hoped for: Seonghwa and Hoongjoong pulling him by his arms inside of the house.

Saying he was literally fighting his friends was nothing, he was doing anything just not to step inside of that place.

"you got yourself into this, my friend"  Yunho snorted patting Wooyoung's shoulder after they finally arrived at the entrance.

The young guy took a deep breath as if he was about to go miles underwater, in fact he was about to throw himself between all those sweaty bodies of people who had been dancing, if that's what you call rubbing against each other, for at least an hour nonstop.

He loved staying in his cozy bed, under the covers cuddling himself, just laying there doing absolutely nothing. But he also loved the feeling he got when he was out partying with his friends, enjoying the music, drinking (not too much), just having fun with the people he loved. These were the two sides of him that coexisted.

He had lost sight of his friends but it didn't matter that much, as long as they were in the same place it was okay.
He walked up to the kitchen, where there had been put some big glasses with different beverages inside, and just poured some in his plastic cup. Nothing was fresher than a well made punch at an unknown's house party.

He sat down for a bit ,feeling lightly dizzy from all the music coming from the living room, and just started playing around with his fingers not noticing there was a guy coming his way.
The latter left out a groan after hitting Wooyoung's shoulder

"Watch where you're going" the guy said sobbing up.

"i'm sat, YOU should watch where you're-" he stopped as soon as he saw the guy in front of him crying.
"are you okay...?" he immediately asked. He was really caring towards people, even who he didn't know, he always thought people cried for a reason and maybe they needed help so he was open to be the one to possibly try to help, even if he needed it more than them...

"y-yeah i just almost gave my body to a piece of shit" he sniffled trying to stop from all the crying.

"i'm so sorry about that" Wooyoung then proceeded to hug the still unknown individual.
"i feel weird hugging a stranger but thanks.." he giggled between the hiccups.

"no worries, what's your name anyways?"
"Felix.." the now identified guy pronounced.

"i'm wooyoung" he smiled after letting go of the hug.

"i'll see you around then, wooyoung" felix gave a quick pat on the shoulder to the other and left without saying anything else.

How could people be so horrible? take advantage of a clearly visible drunk person? what king of world are we living in?

His mind returned to the moment, he grabbed his cup and left the kitchen looking for his friends.

After finding them, he had used the excuse he needed some fresh air to get out of that place. He couldn't deal with it anymore for some reason.

He sat on a bench in the garden in front of the house and just stood there looking at all those wasted people getting in the taxis to escape from the party.

Did they also drink all that alcohol to get numb from the pain? were they also suffering over something and just came to the party to free their minds?

He came back to reality once he saw a familiar figure staggering around followed by a group of people. Once the person turned around Wooyoung opened his eyes wide open, it was THE Choi San.

His legs started moving towards the guy, knowing what he was going into but not caring of the possible consequences. It was probably the only chance he had to get at least a small interaction with the guy, and he was not wasting it even if it was something the other wouldn't have remembered the next day, but he wanted it, needed it.

"San, are you okay?" He reached out for the other's arm but failed.
"get the fuck off! just because i'm wasted as hell doesn't mean you faggot can touch me" he immediately moved out of the reach of the other. he had nothing to do with Wooyoung.

"i'm sorry... i just wanted to help." Wooyoung lowered his face to not look into the taller's eyes.

"you getting out of my way would be the greatest help you could give me!" he shouted at the shorter.

"what did i do to make you hate me so much..?" the latter had glassy eyes.

"you're simply you, that's the problem." San lastly said and left the other standing there, not moving an inch. What a stupid guy for thinking he could have a chance to hold a normal conversation with San. He was left all alone, again, crying over someone who all he knew what to do was hurt him. Wooyoung's optimism was what killed him, he thought that things could get back to normal just by helping him while drunk? no way.

Another guy noticed Wooyoung's state and walked directly to him grabbing his hand.

"Woo, it's okay. He'll get over whatever it is, i promise you" Yeosang pronounced those words, trying to reassure the other.

Yeosang was always there for Wooyoung, he had always been ever since they met. Yeosang was a person Wooyoung could rely onto, he was his rock. He hated seeing his friend so desperate over someone who didn't deserve his sweet heart, someone who would ruin his friend in every single possible way. But yet he couldn't do anything about it, he had tried many times telling him to get over whatever it was but the other never listened or at least pretended to do but never did.

march 18th. 2:35 a.m.

Wooyoung was now lying on in his bed, the only thing that could keep him safe from this cruel world. He was scrolling through his photo gallery, looking at all the pictures he had.
Don't misunderstand, he wasn't trying to hurt myself more than he already was, his phone storage was almost over so he needed to delete some stuff.

He came across some pictures that were taken a year prior, he remembered exactly the moment behind the photos but he wished he didn't right now.

"We'll show these pictures to our kids to show them how good friends we were back then" San giggled looking at the pictures that were just taken.

If only they knew one year later today San wouldn't be able to look at the other's face anymore.
