lay a hand on her again and I'll kill you myself, understand?
Chapter 019: 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒚 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕
🖤
Sidney and Frankie sat beside each other in the campus library. Sidney was typing away on her computer while Frankie wrote her essay out in her notebook, the officers that were supposed to be watching over both Sidney and Blair were standing a few meters away keeping a eye on the place. Seeing as Blair was in her dorm room the officers had both gone with Sidney. Frankie felt better knowing Sidney was with her and both officers were watching out for them, she was still shaken up by the whole Cici thing and her first encounter with Ghostface which was understandable no one wants to be the target of a serial killer
Sidney's computer froze as it made a dinging sound making her furrow her brows as she turned to the boy sitting next to her "Hey, did your computer just freeze?" He looked over at her screen "You have an instant message. Just press Alt-M," he said she looked at him confused "but I'm not logged on?"
"Must be someone else in the library, the terminals are all connected" he told her before turning back to his own work, Frankie looked up confused as she saw Sidney eyeing everyone in the library suspiciously "you okay?"
Sidney hummed before she pressed another button on her keyboard, then her instant message popped up in bright red letters
It read: "You're Going to Die Tonight"
Sidney shot upright to her feet, knocking her chair backwards and onto the floor. Frankie read over the message her eyes widening as she also stood up looking around at the students in the library. The detectives both stood up and placed their hand on their guns alert
"He's here," Sidney said to them, the color draining from her face. Then another message popped up reading 'the police can't save you' Frankie's hand began shaking in fear. The detectives both looked at the screen of her terminal, and then exchanged glances.
"Shit," Detective Richards said, looking around.
"Get away from the computer, both of you, it's probably just a sick joke," declared Detective Andrews, but neither Sidney or Frankie were convinced. Sidney had done this all before and she knew deep down that this wasn't some sick joke "but what if it's not?" Frankie questioned both detectives who lead them over to the door that lead to a stairwell "we'll deal with it, stay here"
The two detectives then went back to the computer area searching everyone's screens. Frankie turned to Sidney "I'm scared, Sid"
