[ISABELLE walks out of the airport, looking around at the scenery, excited]
ISABELLE- [sighs with relief] I finally made it after a long flight. After a long 14 hour, no sleep flight, I'm surprisingly full of energy. Now where's–?
JACOB- [JACOB runs up to ISABELLE] Izzy! Ya made it!
ISABELLE- Hey Jacob! Long time no see buddy!
[JACOB gives ISABELLE a giant hug and spins her around with excitement, then lets go after a spin]
JACOB- Man I missed that. You're so easy to pick up, bestie.
ISABELLE- [chuckling] Don't call me that ever again.
JACOB- Why?!
ISABELLE- It just sounds weird coming from you.
JACOB- Alright fine, I'll just stick with Izzy.
ISABELLE- So, what's your plan for our "Big Day"?
JACOB- Well, since it is our 5 year friendiversary, I thought we could go to our favorite cafe! Yknow, the one we met when we were both 18?
ISABELLE- Oh yeah! I was working there for a bit and I was serving you coffee and accidentally spilled it all over you. I'm still so sorry about that.
JACOB- It was nothing, really! It just gave me an excuse to talk to you more. Then we hit it off and became besties!
ISABELLE- I told you to stop it with that nickname.
JACOB- Yknow you like it, bestie!
ISABELLE- Can we just go now?
JACOB- Oh yeah! Cmon, rush hour is about to end!
[JACOB and ISABELLE walk to the coffee shop, when all of a sudden, a female scream is heard far away]
ISABELLE- What was that?
JACOB- That's called a scream.
ISABELLE- You're such a smartass.
JACOB- Hey, you asked.
ISABELLE- Where do you think it came from?
JACOB- It sounded like it came from that clothing store down the street.
ISABELLE- Let's check it out. [ISABELLE runs towards the clothing store]
JACOB- Ok yeah, just run towards the danger– Hey! Wait for me at least!
[ISABELLE and JACOB enter the clothing store with the sight of a traumatized WITNESS and a body on the floor that isn't moving an inch. The police show up shortly after ISABELLE sees the body and the police scream at them to freeze]
OFFICER 1- Freeze! Nobody move!
OFFICER 2- You two are under arrest!
[ISABELLE and JACOB put their hands in the air]
JACOB- What did we do!? We just got here!
ISABELLE- Yeah! We heard a scream and wanted to investigate!
OFFICER 1- Yeah, likely story.
OFFICER 2- You're coming with us.
[CHIEF REEVES walks in and between OFFICER 1 and OFFICER 2]
CHIEF REEVES- What is the meaning of this?
OFFICER 1- Sir, these criminals–!
CHIEF REEVES- [CHIEF REEVES raises his hand] I was asking those two.
