[the scene fades in on the 2 men and the BOSS with 2 guns to their heads]
MAN 1- Please spare us! We've done everything you've asked!
MAN 2- We made a deal! This isn't fair!
BOSS- Life isn't fair.
MAN 1- Boss please!
MAN 2- Why are you doing this?!
BOSS- I prefer to work alone.
[the BOSS shoots the 2 men, then puts the guns in his pockets]
BOSS- I'll just finish the job myself.
[the BOSS walks off and the scene fades out]
[the scene fades in on ISABELLE asleep in JACOB's bed, slowly waking up]
ISABELLE- [yawns] Good morning Jacob... How'd you sleep--
[she turns to where he was sleeping, but he's not there]
ISABELLE- I guess he's in the bathroom. I'll get dressed and maybe he'll be back by then.
[ISABELLE gets dress, but still no sign of JACOB]
ISABELLE- Huh, that's weird. Maybe he got breakfast before me. [smiles] Or he's making breakfast for me.
[ISABELLE walks into the dining room]
ISABELLE- Ok, so he's definitely in the kitchen.
[ISABELLE walks into the kitchen and sees the cake cover on the cake with a slice missing]
ISABELLE- Did he seriously just take a slice and-- what's that?
[ISABELLE picks up a sticky note that was on the cover, that reads, "REEVES IS NEXT" in red ink. ISABELLE gasps and covers her mouth in horror. She immediately rushes to the police station and sees CHIEF REEVES cleaning around the station]
CHIEF REEVES- Good morning Isabe-- [concerned] Hey hey, what's wrong?
ISABELLE- [screams] Jacob's gone!
CHIEF REEVES- [his eyes widen] What?!
ISABELLE- I woke up this morning and found this! [she hands him the sticky note] I didn't see him this morning and found it, so that means he's gone!
CHIEF REEVES- [folds up the paper and puts it in his pocket] Do you have any idea on when exactly it happened?
ISABELLE- It was probably in the middle of the night. I'm a really heavy sleeper so he probably got up because of a noise and got taken.
CHIEF REEVES- [puts his hand on ISABELLE's shoulder] I promise that we'll find him. I'll send some police officers out right now, then we'll look for him too.
ISABELLE- [sniff] Ok...
[CHIEF REEVES grabs his walkie talkie]
CHIEF REEVES- I need all officers to find Jacob. Isabelle reported him missing this morning and we need him back immediately.
[CHIEF REEVES puts the walkie talkie away]
CHIEF REEVES- Alright, let's go.
[CHIEF REEVES and ISABELLE immediately go and look for JACOB everywhere. They look in the coffee shop...]
ISABELLE- [opens the door] He isn't here.
[the airport...]
ISABELLE- [looks around] Not here...
