[the scene fades in on where EPISODE 1 left off on]

ISABELLE- I think... I'll choose...

[JACOB leans closer in anticipation]

ISABELLE- I'll go to the police station and see Chief Reeves.

JACOB- Good call, I didn't like that "Detective Crawford".

ISABELLE- Why not? He seems really nice.

JACOB- [mumbling] Yeah, a little too nice.

ISABELLE- I should probably get going, it's 7:55 already and it will probably take us about 5 minutes to get there.

JACOB- [excited] Oh! If you get the job, can I be your assistant? [he playfully nudges ISABELLE] Your Winston to your Sherlock?

ISABELLE- [chuckles] If Chief Reeves is ok with it, then I'd love for you to be my Winston.

JACOB- [JACOB wraps his arms around ISABELLE'S shoulders and squeezes her with excitement] Yay! I get to partner with Sherlock Holmes!

ISABELLE- [snickers] Yeah you do, now could you let go of me? I need to breathe, you know.

JACOB- [JACOB lets go] Oh yeah, sorry Izzy.

ISABELLE- Alright, now let's get going before we're late.

[next scene shows ISABELLE and JACOB walking down the street together, when DETECTIVE CRAWFORD walks up to them and stops them in their tracks]

DETECTIVE CRAWFORD- I knew I saw you two.

JACOB- Where did you come from?

ISABELLE- Hello detective.

DETECTIVE CRAWFORD- [DETECTIVE CRAWFORD turns to JACOB with a grin] Could I steal your girlfriend for a minute?

ISABELLE- I'm not his girlfriend, I'm his best friend.

DETECTIVE CRAWFORD- [DETECTIVE CRAWFORD leans closer to ISABELLE'S face] Even better~

JACOB- Hey woah! That's way too close! [JACOB pushes DETECTIVE CRAWFORD and ISABELLE apart]

DETECTIVE CRAWFORD- Relax kid, I was just teasing.

[JACOB remains quiet and DETECTIVE CRAWFORD turns to ISABELLE]

DETECTIVE CRAWFORD- So, can I steal you for a moment, ma'am?

ISABELLE- I guess. Wait here Jacob, I'll be back.

JACOB- Fine.

[ISABELLE and DETECTIVE CRAWFORD walk away from JACOB and walk to an alleyway]

DETECTIVE CRAWFORD- So here's the thing princess, I only wanted you for the job.

ISABELLE- Huh? Oh, no I was heading to the police station. I want to take Chief Reeves' invitation.

DETECTIVE CRAWFORD- Him? You're choosing some strict old man over me?

ISABELLE- I'm sorry, but I'd rather go with his offer. He seems to be more experienced.

DETECTIVE CRAWFORD- Because of his age? Yeah I know, I thought that too.

ISABELLE- What? How would you know?

DETECTIVE CRAWFORD- Because I worked for him before I worked alone.

ISABELLE- If you work alone, then why do you need me?

DETECTIVE CRAWFORD- I think I could bend my own rules a little; I can see us working perfectly together.

ISABELLE- Look, Mr. Crawford, I'm really sorry but I–
