-Fuck we are going to be late.

That's the only thing I've heard since I have opened my eyes this morning.
It's the only thing Maddie is able to repeat while running around the room, packing her things as complaining about everything.
Of course we were too busy to actually pack back our suitcases last night so now we had to do everything in a rush, like always.

We didn't wake up at the sound of our alarm at 8am, as expected, so now it was half past nine and we needed to pack everything and get ready for the match, which was in an hour.
We needed to be in the main entrance checking out at ten and our room was a complete mess.

-Maddie calm down- I tell her as I try to close my suitcase.
I didn't even unpack it in the first place so I didn't take as much time as Maddie was taking.

All her makeup thingies were spread out around the room so she had such a more difficult task with that than me.

-I am definitely going to forget something- she says, while checking the bathroom and the wardrobe continuously.
She checks every single spot of the room, even under the mattress where she found a pair of sunglasses, don't even ask me how they got there because I had no idea.

-I think you checked every possible spot Mads, you are not forgetting anything!- I try to reassure her even though she doesn't listen to me and keeps going through the area.

I finish getting ready with the things that weren't inside the suitcase so I end up wearing one of my brother's team t-shirt with some navy shorts.
Finally,  I grab my Ray-ban sunglasses as it was too obvious that we didn't really sleep and put them on, trying to not make it very obvious.

When I'm checking my self out on the mirror, something I would always do, I notice a couple of hickeys on my neck- fuck- I mutter as I go to the bathroom, where Maddie was doing her makeup now.

-You got something to cover these?- I ask with a dead expression while pointing to the marks, earning a loud gasp as well as a wide smile from her.

-Sure- she says, trying her hardest not to laugh while grabbing one of those squishy things with some concealer.
She places some of that on my neck, which tickles me.

-Stop moving!- she says while applying that thing on my neck- we are already late.

-Do I have to remind you that this was your fault?- I say, pointing to the now covered hickey.

-No it wasn't!- she says finishing with it and running to her suitcase where she placed all the makeup again.
She was wearing a pair of light blue ripped jeans with a white top and one of the team's jacket tided on her neck, since it was the only thing my brother had left and it was too hot to be wearing it.
However she had a sense of style that made the outfit look good immediately.
Her being gorgeous was a good point as well.

-Okay I think I'm not forgetting anything- she says while we place our suitcases in the hall.

-And if you do they can send it to your apartment so don't worry- I tell her with the aim of calming her down a bit.

She just nods and places her sunglasses on and, when I do the same, as I had them on my t-shirt.

She chuckles and says- rough night?

-Rough night- I reply,  as we carry our suitcases down the hall, heading to the main entrance where our uber would be waiting for us, as my mom had indicated us.

When we get to the door, we spot my family loading their things into the car.

-Finally!- my mom tells us, her tense muscles relieving as soon as she saw us.
