CHAPTER 11

Maddie

I hand Chase the key from our room as I impatiently wait for him to open it.

I never imagined we would stay in a hotel like this one, it was ginormous. Definitely the most luxurious hotel I've ever stayed in.
The roofs were very high and everything was decorated in a Mediterranean style, with palm trees and big flowers everywhere.
It had so many pools and a spa area, or that's what I read on the main entrance, where many employees received us with the most delicious cocktails.

When he opens the door I can't resist but gasp.

There was the biggest bed I had ever seen in my life, surrounded by some paints which made everything look way pricier.
A big window with views to the beautiful beaches was in front of the bed and there even was a jacuzzi in the balcony, I don't think I closed my mouth the whole time I looked through the room.

-You should have showed me pictures of the hotel to convince me quicker- It's the only thing I manage to say.

Chase just laughs- If it makes you feel better the pictures don't make this place any justice.

-I can't wait to go to the pool, imagine being tanned in February! this is every girl's dream- I excitedly say, opening my suitcase and grabbing the first bikini I saw.
I turn around, watching Chase stay in his place, not moving- are you gonna stay there for the rest of the day?

He rubs his nape- Oh um.. no, I was just checking the place- he says as he opens his suitcase as well, earning some giggles from me.

I head to the bathroom to change into my bikini and to apply some of my skin care products.
I had to leave very early this morning so I didn't get the chance to do my skin care routine.
I already felt my skin drying and I couldn't hate that feeling more.
When I finish doing so, I exit the bathroom, seeing Chase laying in the big bed, watching something on his phone.

-You ready john b?- I ask him, redirecting all his attention to my body, which he scanned through some good seconds.

-Sure- he says smiling, getting up and heading to the door.

I grab a light summer dress and take a picture on one of the many mirrors before leaving the room and following Chase through the many halls of this hotel.

-I think the pool might be there- he says pointing to a loud area.

-I think that's the one for children- I say, pointing to a sign that literally said "CHILDREN POOL"

-Yeah I think so too- he says rubbing the back of his neck while I laughed.

-Follow me- I tell him as I get him to the actual pool, which was way more relaxed than the other one. Before getting in, I make a quick stop at the minibar- you want anything?- I ask him as we both look over the cocktail list.

-Yeah I'll have a Bloody mary- he says as I immediately put on a disgusted face- what? you don't like it?- He asks me while grinning.

-Worst cocktail choice ever - I tell him as I get closer to the waitress and order what he wanted and a dirty martini.

-You think martinis are better?- he asks as I hand him his drink while walking to some deck chairs that were kinda far away from the rest of the people.
