Interrupting the ghostly silence was footsteps. The sound of three people rushing up the stairs thundered throughout the silent clearing.

Peter went out first looking upset and leaned on the tower wall. Lucy came up right behind him
"How about before you think before you react, huh?" She said now fed up with him.
"I agree" Susan called out as she climbed up the winding stairs.

Edmund faced them, his siblings were all gathered around with him forming a semi circle around Iris who had their back on them, still facing the sea and forest.

"Look, I'm sorry but I have no clue what's happening."
Iris softly said.
She turned towards them.
" Although I might have a clue about that statue."
She took out her phone.
The four siblings stared at her.
" What? Music helps in everything."
She said
Edmund faintly smiled as she scrolled through her phone and started playing a song.
The music started

She frowned, this was not the song she was playing. Her phone said Now playing The Call.

But last time she checked this was not the call.
Great my phone's not working now. Amazing.

She shook it and put her ear to the speaker. The sound wasn't coming from there. She looked out as the music went on. Nothing. There was no one there.

"Where is it coming from?" Susan asked
" Perhaps it's sirens!" Lucy exclaimed wanting to see her friends again.
" I don't think so Lu." Peter said
Lucy sighed
" Iris where is it coming from?" Edmund asked
But Iris was gone.
" She has a knack for disappearing doesn't she?" Edmund said rushing down the stairs
The three Pevensies looked at each other before jumping to action and following their brother down the stairs.

Edmund was standing there facing Iris who was standing on the place where the fifth throne should've been.

The music was still there.

' I once had an empire in a golden age'

The whole scene flickered. One moment they were standing looking at Iris and the other they were their at their coronation. Aslan was there. The Pevensies looked as Iris stood by their younger selves in Narnia. They all received their crowns and watched the crowd chant their names.

Then the scene flickered again. Now they were in the Battle of Beruna. Watching younger Edmund rush forward and break the White Witch's wand.

Then if fluctuated again. They were watching another coronation. It was Iris'. They watch as an older version of her knelt down and bowed as a crown of flowers was placed upon her head, like the one on the statue.

After going to the next flashback the appeared at the front lines of a battle. A battle the siblings were not familiar with.
They watch as creatures and spirits rushed forward and collided with an army of much greater. They watch as an armoured Iris ,who looked a bit older that at the coronation, Rush forward arms held out in a cross formation and create a barrier between the two armies.
" War is NEVER the answer!" She shouted as she kept the barrier up. She broke the barrier down as the armies faced her. All weapons disappeared from both sides.

They all blinked and returned to the present.
"Got it." Peter said as he now looked at Iris with new found respect.

While the Pevensies struggled to comprehend how the girl that fell down from the sky the other day could be a queen. The girl in question was having a mental spiral.

'War is NEVER the answer!' Her own voice screamed in her head.
'I'm afraid, your majesty, the odds are not in our favour.'
' I'm sorry.'
' Remember don't panic.'
' I can't stop!'
' It's too late. They've already won.'
' I don't deserve to be Queen. All I do is let you all down.'
' You're on your own kid, you can face this!'

Voices plagued her as she stared into oblivion.

What in earth is going on?
Also why am I at the center of it all?!
Who am I?
Even I don't know. Wow. If I wasn't crazy before, I am now.

She wished she could remember who the voices belonged to.
But she didn't.
