The Pevensies and Iris wandered around the beach after the hectic morning they had.
All of the siblings had reacted towards Iris'involvement in Narnia in different ways. Peter and Susan grew more respectful of her, Lucy and Edmund grew closer to her.
They all decided to journey down to the beach to see 'any chance of getting of this place' as Iris said. She wasn't really lying though.
Peter, Susan and Lucy went up first talking about battle strategies cause Susan brought it up while Edmund and Iris trailed behind talking about the Golden Age.
"What happened to Cor and Corin?" Iris asked
Edmund stopped to think before replying
"They became the best of friends and helped rule Archenland."
Iris smiled softly, glad the two brothers got the happy ending they deserved.
"Tag your it!" She yelled turning to Edmund,suddenly.
He gasped in sarcastic horrer before chasing her to the edge of the beach , towards his siblings.
On the way there, Iris tripped over a protruding rock and nearly fell to the ground before Edmund catched her arm.
He grinned up at her before letting her arm go, leaving her to fall to the ground.
She sat up to see him holding his hand out to help her up. She grabbed his arm and instead of letting him help her she pulled him down as well.
He turned around to face her.
"You are going to pay for that."
"Pay for what? Turkish Delights?"
He looked up at the sky thoughtfully before replying
"Not the answer I would have expected."
"Well, I thought you should know by now. I'm unpredictable. I ligit fell from the sky." She laughed
"True, true. To be fair Turkish Delight doesn't sound all to bad right now. Just now from the..." He trailed off
"The b- witch?"
"Yep."
"What's done is done besides Aslan's always there."
"Then where is he now?"
That last like echoed in Iris'head as she sta up suddenly.
'Things don't happen the same way twice, my dear.'
' Aslan this and Aslan that! Where is he now?! Where is the "king of Narnia" now? Deal with it Iris, your on your own.'
She snapped back into reality.
" Are you all right?" Edmund asked as he touched her shoulder
She gazed off into the distance
"Yeah, I'll be fine."
And that's when they heard Susan yell
"Drop him!"
