I have returned. I didn't forget about this and I feel horrible that my past self left it on a cliff hanger. So, therefore, here we are! Also, sorry DR34MR34LM, I feel like my response to your comment sounded abit rude, counting on the fact I haven't heard from ya since- heh-
Moon had been mourning over Sun for who knows how long. But he knew he couldn't just give up. With Sun's memory chip in hand, he quickly got to work with the resources he had.
One wrong move, and Moon could mess up everything. He didn't want to think about loosing his brother, it was too much. At least he would have Lunar.. (🗿)
A few hours in, Moon fixed the memory chip, but it did look different... The animatronic just hoped it would be normal again.
He slowly put Sun's memory chip back in hesitantly, powering him on.
Life came back into Sun's eyes as he looked up at Moon.
"Sun?"
"W-what is this.."
"What do you mean? We're at one of the bases."
"Huh?"
Moon looked at the ground. Sun didn't forget... Right?
"What do you remember."
"Nothing? Was I supposed to..?"
"Dammit... This isn't right.., good god.." Moon felt his heart break, even if he didn't really have one.
"Do you remember your name?!"
Sun tilted his head, a look of confusion.
Moon put his head in his hands, then looking to his brother.
"You- you are Sun. I am your brother.. Moon."
"O-okay..."
The night attendant put a hand on the others shoulder. In a reassuring way. "Look, I'll tell you everything you need to know.." He sounded a little disappointed, almost Like he would cry.
"I should've never left you here all alone.." He mumbled to himself, not loud enough for Sun to hear.
A few minutes later, Moon had told Sun he would tell him everything once they got back to the daycare. Which was also hard to explain. Though before they could do that, the two needed rest. Especially through everything they'd been through. And Moon also had to fix Sun still, the only thing he had done was try to get the memory chip back in order.
The animatronic looked over to his twin, who had fallen into rest mode. This made him laugh a little, as he cuddled to his brother.
Maybe things would be better now.. maybe now Sun wouldn't have to suffer through all his tramaua. He would be okay for once in his life.
Of course, it hurt that Moon had lost someone important to him, but at least he still had a version of it. At least he could still see his brother, even if things would be a bit different.
Moon slowly turned to rest mode, leaning on his twin.
Well, I finally finished that. Uhm-, again, sorry DR34MR34LM for sounding rude. 😅 I hope you guys like this. And let me know if I should continue this with a part three! <3
