Y/n's POV:

*One week later*

It was finally the day where, the day I start my first day here; working in the WICKED compound.

Teresa was all excited for me, for me to work here, she kept going on, and on about me making a cure, or the cure, to save the world.

Gally, Alby and Newt kept saying. 'It isn't a good idea, and that I shouldn't work with them, and  at such a young age; it could damage my health.'

Minho didn't care as much, kept going on about his theory. 'Your probably a spy, and will soon betray WICKED.' Which is ture. Minho may be funny, but he does have his smarts.

Thomas hesitating agreed with Teresa. It also seemed Thomas didn't trust WICKED, but also wasn't sure who to believe.

I was already wearing the WICKED, official scientist uniform, wearing black jean pants, a grey shirt under my white official WICKED jacket. My hair was all cleaned, and brushed, and putting it into a ponytail, my hair was so long; that I needed to cut really soon. Now I don't look like a mess.

We all heard a knock on the door, it was probably Ava.

"Good luck Y/n." Newt said. Everyone agreeing with Newt, I was walking to the door, I felt a hand on my wrists, stopping me, I saw it was; both Thomas and Newt, holding my wrists, right before I was about to open the door.

"What is it Newt and Thomas?" I asked. Everyone looked at the two boys, confused on why they both stopped me. Newt and Thomas had gotten closer to my ears, and whispered to me.

"Please find my sister. Her name is Lizzy; or now known as Sonya. I want to see her, before something bad might happen in the future. Good luck Y/n, at this whole thing." Newt whispers to me.

"Be safe also, bye Y/n." Thomas whispers, Newt agreeing, and saying the same things Thomas said.

I nodded, they moved back a bit from my ears; Newt and Thomas stood beside, both Minho and Alby, I left the room, then I closed the door behind me, seeing Ava standing at the door.

"Are you ready, for me to take you to your first appointment, and task?" Ava asked.

"Yes. I am ready." I say, coldly. Ava nodded, and held out her hand for me to take; I took her hand, she started guiding me to this room. It was big, all colored white room, many other doctors and scientists here; making there own cures.

We arrived; I saw the outside of the room, there was the same two metal doors; that would open with a pressure pad of a person, which would active to open both doors, at the same time. There was multiple glass windows, making it into a whole room, guards were also here, wearing there uniforms, masks on and holding there guns, inside the room.

My full attention, again on the doctors and scientists, making their ways of making cures and testing out blood. I looked, seeing a infected little girl, sitting on the chair, covered with tissue paper, she's also wearing a signature, original patient outfit, you would get at a hospital.

Her skin had purple and black roots, growing on her entire body. Her eyes were a red pinkish color, it was almost like the color of blood with those eyes.

I stood next to Ava, staring at the girl, observing her.

"Don't worry, we won't be putting you in a position to syringe her with a cure we're making, or let her harm you. You will just be working on a cure; like the other scientists here." Ava said. Ava held my hand still, and took me to my own lab station.

It was filled with scientific evidence, equipment and type of needles.

"Since you're only 14, we will only be having you at 8AM to 3PM. Have a good first day, and remember Y/n. WICKED is good." Ava said, she left my new science station, aka office.
