S2 Part 9

Y/n's POV:

Me and Mary both talked for a couple hours, getting information from one to another.

Mary told me; she never heard of someone named 'Kai.' She had told me: she wanted to find the file for Kai, or known as Overhaul in my opinion.

I have told her that WICKED is building a maze, we both started making our own theories. There was only one maze, so far, but WICKED could be building more. It started getting late and I had work tomorrow.

"I must go Mary, bye and see you later, we will talk tomorrow night after my and your work." I say.

"Ok, get me as much information you know, right now or tomorrow. What are you working on tomorrow?" Mary said and asked.

"Building the maze, and these wired, metal bug monsters." I said. 

"Interesting, do they have a type of poison?" Mary asks.

"They use a serum; but they never let me touch it, or go near it." I reply.

"Okay, I need one small test tube of that serum, for testing, can you try and get it?" Mary asks.

"Yes." I say.

We said our 'goodbyes,' and the radio turned off. I got off the stool, looked at the clock on the wall, reading as 11PM. I looked to the door, to now see him again. Yoriichi.

"Your back." I say, he nods and opens the door. Nobody was anywhere, just empty walls and hallways. Yoriichi took my hand, we both started walking back to mine and my roommates room I stayed in.

"Did you kill people like Overhaul?" I asked Yoriichi, he hesitantly nodded.

"Yes. Unfortunately I couldn't kill him, he became like that after I died." Yoriichi explains, I nodded. I wanted to know more about those type of people, people who are more like Overhaul. I asked Yoriichi questions; about people like Overhaul, but all he said was:

"That is for you to find out, finding out in the future. You have these people, and WICKED to worry about. I promise, you will know soon." Yoriichi said. Me and Yoriichi remain silent, we kept walking down the hallways, this time not holding each other's hands.

I've been so busy, I had finally realized something. Yoriichi's mark almost looks like...mine, kind of. Expect; his didn't have a moon and purple flames; he has a dark red scar on his forehead.

Just like mine, but mine has a sun almost combining with the moon; Yoriichi noticed me staring at his scar and looked at me.

"I see you have a scar, like mine." Yoriichi said. Me and him stopped walking, he moved a bit of my hair; my hair is as long as his. Yoriichi kept his emotions, and observed the scar more.

"We're you born with it?" Yoriichi asks.

"Yes." I say, Yoriichi remained silent, like he was thinking of something.

Did my scar mean something to him? Are me and him linked together, with scars?!

I was snapped out of my thoughts, Yoriichi grabbed my hand and we started walking again, he did it really quickly; like a bolt of lighting passed by.

"We're you also born with that scar?" I asked, trying to avoid how fast he is. Yoriichi looked down at me, we kept walking down hallways, yet again.

"Indeed. And I can read your mind, I'm just really fast, that's all" He says. Interesting. A moment of silence came, we finally made it back to the room; it took a lot of walking to get here. Me and Yoriichi stood a couple feet away from each other, the both of us staring into our eyes. A cold, emotionless stare.
