**DANIELLE'S POV**

"Uhmmmm what the hell was that?" I hear Gemma talk to someone from the kitchen. I had just finished taking a useless shower, only to be in there worrying about the boys outside. Not only did I hear gunshots, but it sounded like a tornado of engines came through the back.

I quickly rub my hair out with a towel and come around the corner to see everyone who was outside, including Greg and his mission crew back in the kitchen.

"Apparently there's more important things going on." Harry replies to his sister.

Plenty of "What-do-you-means" and "what-are-you-talking-abouts", clutter the room and I anxiously wait to hear the answer to their suffocated cries.

"Jesy was kidnapped." Greg yells over everyone, obviously shutting them up.

"WHAT?" Is all I can hear come out of everyone's mouth, and once again the space around us is loud once again.

Alex looks down, his blonde hair covering his eyes. Clear sadness fills into every gesture and expression Lottie makes as she leans into Louis. Her older brother squeezes her against his side, Felicite on the other side of him as well.

"A man tried to kill us." Lottie speaks out, emphasizing the horror in the situation. It was like after every short sentence, the room gets louder and louder.

I don't even bother to ask how it happened, because everyone else is asking the same question.

"A kid named Jacob approached us at the armory; asked us kindly at first to leave. Greg protested, you know, first-come-first-serve. He took her and that was the last we saw of her." Lottie speaks again, more people piping down to hear her petite voice.

Everyone goes quiet and I suddenly feel the urge to be sick, 'what kind of ugly human being would ever want to harm or cause fear when all we have to fear these days are the dead?' I think to myself.

Silence takes upon the group and it's clear that Greg has the urge to speak up and protest. "We tried to go after her, I must have fired fifty bullets at him, I swear, but he was gone by the time we came around the corner."

"We have to go after her! We have to go find her!" Carly yells, gaining nods from Emily, Perrie, and Jade.

"There's no use." Greg turns as if he's going to walk away, before Steven grabs him by the shirt and spins the short man around. Many people gasp, all eyes widened and frightful.

"What kind of sick people are you!?" Steven yells in Greg's face. Josh quickly shows up behind Steven and pulls him backwards before he thinks of doing anything stupid. On impulse I take a couple steps forward as well, to stop the boy I call my best friend.

"You're going to fucking leave her behind? Just forget about her and hope she makes it back? PRAY TO GOD THAT SHE'LL BE OKAY?" He pushes toward the man again and the veins in his neck are popping up out of his skin, I raise a hand to touch his muscular arm, but no sense of the touch phases him at all.

Although, I can't help but agree with him. Back when it was just my original group, if someone fell behind, or even if someone disappeared behind a tree to take a piss, we waited and we went back. This isn't about praying to god anymore.

His eyes stay trained right on Greg's, and his short height leaves him at vulnerability towards Steven.

"She's just one person, and she's been here as long as I have, she knows her way h-" he tries to speak once again, but Steven is far too irritated to hear his bullshit anymore.

"YEAH SHE'S ONE PERSON. ONE PERSON OF YOUR GROUP, IF SHES BEEN HERE AS LONG AS YOU WHY DON'T YOU CARE? THAT'S A REALLY SHITTY WAY OF HANDLING THINGS AND IF THAT'S HOW THIS GROUP IS GONNA WORK I DON'T WANT TO BE A PART OF IT." He now not only screams at Greg, but at the whole group. His eyes scanning back and forth over the scared people.

He grips his gun and starts for the door, Niall following behind him. Not one person speaks or even moves. A breath can't even be heard. Only the crunching sound of footsteps echo the room, Niall's boots scurrying behind Steven's toward the exit.

"He's right." I say fiercely, a grim look on my face. I look to Jackson and he nods at me as if dismissing everyone. Turning to Josh, who is standing in front of me, he pats my back and I go to where Niall and Steven are quiet on the porch.

I still hear no voices from behind me, only the sound of people dismissing from the area, going back to what they were doing. I could only imagine the feeling in Greg's heart right now.

I look back and my eyes see Lottie before I shut the door behind me. A smile on her face and eyes trained on me, Louis pulls her arm but she still remains in the same spot, only looking at me.

IM SO SORRY GUYS THIS WHOLE STORY SUCKS, IT WAS JUST A FILLER AND SHORT AF BUT I PROMISE ITLL HOPEFULLY GET BETTER.
