Axel

We were in two vehicles. Mattie rode with me, Corey, and Raven, while Violet rode with Brandon, Marc, and MawMaw. Their house and part of ours had been fully packed, with everything we might need already sent ahead to the Blackbourne mansion. Phil had gotten us a private jet courtesy of the Academy so that we could bypass TSA and the chaos of the airport terminal.

Mattie was sitting as close as possible to Raven in the back seat as he sang softly to her in Russian. I glanced a few times in the rearview, then frowned as the light quickly changed, splitting our two cars apart. I tapped the steering wheel in frustration then heard Corey shout, "Axel!" I looked up seconds before a large black sedan slammed into my side of the car shooting us across the intersection. My head swam as I heard the screeching of tires, then Raven shouting in Russian and gunshots before everything went dark.

Corey

I heard Raven's cursing and gunfire, but I couldn't tell if it was from him or aimed at him. My eyes wouldn't focus right as I saw Axel's blurry outline slumped against the steering wheel, blood running down his face.

"Raven," I cried out, but he didn't answer. I felt a sharp pain in my side and heard a scream. "Mattie," I choked, coughing as blood filled my mouth. I heard muffled voices and sirens before I lost consciousness.

Raven

"Ublyudki!" I shouted as I saw them approaching. Mattie was slumped next to me unconscious as I started firing. I hit two of them before they realized where the shots were coming from.

I heard one of them yell, "Hijo de puta!" as he fired, hitting my shoulder and kicking my gun away as it dropped. I was pinned by the belt and helplessly watched as they pulled krolik out of the car and carried her away. The world looked like it was turning sideways and then everything was gone.
