Mattie
After spending the weekend with them, I quickly realized they really were all overgrown children. I'm not sure who was more excited at the Children's Museum, them or Violet. I couldn't stop laughing when Axel and Bebe touched the static ball and made their hair stand on end, then Raven got lost in the maze and she had to sing to find him. Corey wanted to buy the entire gift shop while Brandon and Nova devoured gourmet ice cream like it was endangered.
Then on Sunday, they all came to my house for supper with MawMaw. She grilled them about their families, childhood, work, former girlfriends, well, everything. Thanks to her, I learned almost everything about them in less than four hours. Of course, she was quick to embarrass me with stories of my childhood and how much I screamed and cried when Violet was born.
After I'd put Bebe to bed, and MawMaw had excused herself to bed as well, we all sat on the front porch. "Um, can I ask a question," I said meekly.
"Sure, beautiful, what's on your mind?" Brandon asked.
"Well, um, I know Corey and I kinda talked about being public with our relationship yesterday, but I, uh, wondered how that will go at work?"
Corey and Brandon frowned slightly, but Raven just laughed, "We give you bigger office attached to ours. We can make you our personal paralegal."
"Well, that's sort of the problem, Raven. If you all start treating me special, it could cause some backlash. I don't want another situation like Trish where I'm accused of sleeping my way to the top," I explained.
"For now, we keep our relationship private when it comes to the workplace, if that's okay with you?" Corey suggested. "Now, that doesn't mean we won't go out and spend time with you, it just means I will do my best not to throw you over my knees at work again," he smirked. Oh goodness, I think I need to change my panties now.
"Once you feel it's okay, then we can make it known at the office, beautiful," Brandon added.
I nodded, "Okay. Well, not to run you off, but I have to get up early with Bebe in the morning. Oh, I wondered if I could look at a contract similar to Meadows. It might help to compare the options side by side." The three of them agreed and then one by one I kissed them goodnight, with Nova being the last.
He shuffled his feet, "I don't want to be away from you even for a minute, Angel. I know it's crazy, but I really want you to think about moving in with us. That includes MawMaw if she'll come. We have plenty of room, and if it isn't what you want, we can buy something different."
"Nova," I gaped, "You can't be serious. You can't just buy a new house because of me, silly."
"Whew, I thought you were going to argue about moving in, but hey if the house is the only issue, I'm calling it a win," he teased.
I blushed, "I mean, I want to, but this is way too fast, especially for Violet. She just met you, she wouldn't understand us all moving in so soon. Let her get to know all of you and become comfortable with the idea of having all of you as Daddies, well, unless that bothers you. She's yours, but, um, oh pickles, I don't know what I'm saying," I flustered.
Nova's eyes were wide and then he just busted up laughing, "Oh wow, Angel. I don't think I've ever seen you at a loss for words like that." He pressed a kiss to my forehead, "I know I'm her biological daddy, but if this relationship is going to work with all of us, then yes, they are all her daddies as well. She needs to know that all of us are there for both of you - always, love." He cupped my face, kissing me softly, "Thank you for wanting this, for wanting us. I love you, my perfect Angel." I hummed happily as he kissed me again before getting into the SUV.
Brandon
Marc got into the SUV with a Chesire grin. "So what was that all about?" I finally asked him.
"I asked her to think about moving in with us - even MawMaw. I even joked about getting a different house if we needed to."
"And..." Axel prompted.
He grinned bigger, if that was even possible, and said, "She thinks it's too soon because she wants to ease Violet into the idea of having all of us as Daddies."
My heart raced. "Really, she said that?" I asked. He nodded with a chuckle. I think all of us were a bit giddy after that revelation.

"Good morning, beautiful," I greeted her with a kiss and a cup of coffee as she opened the door.
"Good morning, handsome," she giggled in response, then gave a yawn. "Sorry, Violet woke up extra early this morning. She was really excited for school today."
As if she heard her name mentioned, Violet came racing down the stairs at that exact moment, "BB!" she yelled, arms out.
"Hey, precious," I said, feeling her small arms squeezing my neck. I lifted her up and kissed her cheeks. "I hear you're excited about school today."
"Uh-huh. I'm going to tell the class we found Daddy Nova," she beamed. "And I'm going to tell them about you, and Axie, and Corey, and Raven too!"
"I think that sounds perfect," I told her with a proud grin. Mattie was smiling ear to ear as she watched us, then pointed to her wrist. I pouted, I mean, come on, I'm the boss. I can be late if I want to. She gave me a look and I relented. "Precious, Mama, and I need to get to work."
"Okay BB," she said, grabbing my cheeks, "I love you, bunches," then she kissed my nose.
I felt a lump in my throat and choked out, "I love you too, Precious. Be good at school today," I kissed her head and put her back down. She ran over to Mattie giving her a hug and kiss before we headed out the front door.
Once we were in the car, she took my hand, "You okay?"
I nodded, kissing her hand, "Yeah. She just surprised me, that's all. I'm not gonna lie, beautiful, I could really get used to seeing her like that every morning." Mattie just gave a contented sigh and smiled. We drove the rest of the way to work chatting about how much fun we had over the weekend with all of us together.
