The skies were dark and broken, just like we were. Marc and Emilio held Mattie up as she sobbed. Nate and Kota stayed close to me as I leaned heavily on my new cane. I had refused to attend the service in a wheelchair. I stepped forward and placed a white rose on her casket, pressing my hand to the cold surface. "I'm so sorry I didn't do more to protect you," I whispered.

The large crowd filed by, paying their respects and telling us how sorry they were for our loss. I wanted to scream at their false platitudes. How dare they pretend to care. This was just all for show, while fucking Carlos was still out there and we stood here in the presence of death surrounded by bright flowers that seemed so out of place in this garden of stones.

Brandon stepped up to take Emilio's place as he neared the caskets to say a few words. He spoke of Rico's dedication and bravery and of Lorna's innocence. He spoke of the importance of family and cherishing those you love for the short time you have them to hold, then he issued a rallying cry to hold the ones responsible accountable. His words left me hollow.

"This is all bullshit," she muttered angrily.

I put my arm around her and kissed her head, "I know Cuore mio. It's almost over."

Tori's dark eyes looked up at me with anger. "It won't be over until that bastard is in a box of his own, Victor." I sighed. She was right.

"We'll discuss it at home, ghost," Nate said quietly. I saw the worry in his eyes, in all our eyes. She had coded not once but three times. The day she coded with Silas and Kota in the room, we thought we'd lost her forever - they had even proclaimed a time of death. Sean had literally passed out when her heart started on its own. Since then Nate had called her our little ghost.

Despite his medical advice both of us wanted to be here for Rico and Lorna's services. I felt like I'd failed as her guardian somehow. She finally had a chance at freedom only to have it ripped from her forever. And Rico, well he finally found someone who loved and accepted him. He'd changed so much in just a few months and we all considered him family. We had even decided to ask them to return to Charleston with us if Tori was willing to come as well. If not, we had agreed to stay in Mexico. That conversation seemed a million years ago now. I looked around at our broken and bruised families, feeling the cold metal of the cane in my hand, and couldn't help but wonder what was next.

"The girls need to stay here. Carlos has lost most of his support now and is a desperate man. Taking them out in public only adds risk," Gabriel pointed out. "You know damn well that is a trap, Emilio. He'll mow you down before you even make it out of the car."

"He's right. Hell, Carlos may not even be there. It's just a way to take you out so that he can come after the girls next," I agreed.

"I know it's a trap," Emilio sighed, "but I also think it's the only way to draw him out. If I don't show, then we are just waiting, looking over our shoulders for him to show up."

"Send a decoy," Brandon said. We all argued, but he held up his hand. "I'm not saying to send some poor fool to their death, but send a decoy car, one of those autopilot ones. If it explodes, you know it was a trap."

"It wouldn't be hard to do," Corey said. "Vic and I can control it from the compound."

"Okay, but what then. If it doesn't blow up, I'm not there to deal with him," Emilio let out a frustrated breath as he ran his hands over his face.

"You will be there, just not in the car," Raven grinned. "Take a tactical unit with snipers to canvas and provide support. We have satellite access."

"Shit, I should have worked with you Russians years ago," he snorted and agreed.

Marc clapped his hands, "Okay, then let's go hunting."

The plans had been set in motion and now we were hovering around our wife. Okay, well that's what she called it.

"You six realize I'm not going to break, right?" she smirked as she leaned against my chest.

I ran my hand over her breast, plucking at her nipple as she drew in a sharp breath. "Are you needy, Dove?"

"Yes," she whimpered. "Please."

Marc chuckled as he tugged her panties down and spread her legs, "Is this what you need, Angel?" He licked up her folds and sucked gently on her clit as she begged and wiggled.

I tilted her mouth to mine, "We have to go slow, love, wouldn't want you going into labor early, now would we?" I chuckled, then plunged my tongue in. She groaned into my mouth as Marc sent her over the edge, her body trembling against me.

"Nova, more please," she cried. He climbed up and kissed my mouth then hers. I glanced up to see the others quickly undressing. We needed to be with her tonight, to be with each other.

He lifted her and gently removed her clothes as I undressed. "I love you," Brandon whispered in my ear as he came up behind me, his lips ghosting across my neck. I felt the cool lube being rubbed across my rim. Dove looked up at us with such love as she lay on her side. She smiled and opened her mouth as I began thrusting slowly, letting out a low groan when Brandon pushed inside of me. She gave her own whimper when Marc began pressing inside of her, lifting her leg gently. Despite our overwhelming desire, we kept our pace maddeningly gentle. Despite only being at the end of her eighth month, Sean was still worried about the stress sending her into early labor.

"Cum for us, Angel," Marc groaned. I felt Brandon grunt as he spilled inside of me, pushing me deeper down my throat. When her hands squeezed my balls, I called out her name and flooded her mouth. She shivered and came around Marc's cock as he lost all control. We all struggled to catch our breath as Emilio came closer and began cleaning her gently with a soft cloth.

"What color little mouse," he asked softly.

"Green sir," she smiled.

He placed her on his lap as he gently sank into her core. Her legs circled him as he leaned back against a large wedge pillow Raven placed behind him. Corey knelt behind her and began stretching her tight ring slowly. Emilio gently kissed her, then turned her head toward Raven's waiting cock.

"Krolik," he purred as he pushed deep. She hummed as he thrust slowly, then both Corey and Emilio began pumping inside of her. It was a thing of beauty to watch.

We lay tangled amongst each other, not wanting to leave her or sleep. Her soft cries broke us. "I can't lose you - any of you," she sobbed quietly. "I'm scared."

"I know, mi amore, but this has to end. This little girl and our Violet deserve a life with their mommy and daddies," Emilio said, stroking her stomach. "We can't have that with Carlos out there."

"And what if he takes it away now," she snapped. "You don't have to go, please don't go."

"They'll be okay, Dove," I tried to reassure her. "Corey and Vic will be here running the surveillance. I'll be here with you and so will Brandon."

Raven gripped her face, "I will bring them home, krolik. I promise."

She gave him the most painful expression and whispered, "You can't promise that - no one can."
