Pursuit Of Knowledge

"Hey! Y/N! Uh- Chan? Whatever, YALL GET UP" a voice sounded from outside my driver's side window.

Who the hell is yelling?

I bat my eyes open and wipe the crusties off. It feels way too early to be alive.

I turn to my window, squinting, to see who hath decided to wake me from my slumber.

"You awake? Good. Unlock the doors so I can get Chan up" Minho commands, rather annoyed.

"Good morning to you too" I mumble as I unlock my doors.

He opens my passenger door and proceeds to awaken Chan in an interesting way.

"JEONGIN RAN OUT OF GO GO SQUEEZES!!" He yells, right next to Chan's ear might I add.

Almost immediately Chan is awake and taking in his surroundings.

"You both awake? Cool, my job here is done" Minho says with a mischievous grin before walking to their van.

I watch him as he passes in front of my car and over to theirs. He's an interesting one that Minho.

"Does he always wake you up like that?" I ask Chan, turning to face him.

"When he has to take on that duty, yes. He wakes each of us up differently though. For me he uses the kids against me. I'll always wake up if one of them needs something" He answers, rubbing his eyes and letting out a yawn.

"Hm, at least it's entertaining" I say, then we fall back into a silence.

After a few moments of staring into space I let out a sigh and prop my seat back up. My blanket somehow ended up in between my seat and the center console; I grab that and put it in my back seat. Chan does the same and then we stare into the void for a moment longer.

It's definitely too early to be alive.

"Alright, I'm going to get dressed and wake up Lilith. Feel free to chill in my car but if you get out make sure to lock it" I announce, throwing my keys into his lap and exiting the car.

The walk to the hotel room is quiet and slow. Like I'm wading through slightly watery jello. I think I need more sleep.

I take out my key card as I arrive at the door. Quietly, I open it and step inside. The lights are still off and I don't hear any movement. As I walk further into the room I chuckle at the sight in front of me.

Lilith is sprawled on the entire queen sized bed star fish style, the blanket is on the floor, the sheet under the blanket is halfway off the bed, and the pillows are somehow on the bed next to hers. She's slump as fuck.

This is too good not take a picture of.

I quickly snap a photo before walking over to her.

"Lilith! It's time to get up" I say a little loud while lightly shaking her.

She's a light sleeper so she begins to stir and wake up.

"I'm up, you can get dressed first" she says, groggy and definitely not awake.

I smile a little and go over to my bag grabbing an outfit, toothbrush and toothpaste, and moisturizer.

By the time I'm done Lilith has moved to sitting on the bed criss cross applesauce, eyes half closed, and swaying a little.

Oh poor baby.

"Come on, go get dressed and splash some water on your face" I instruct, grabbing her bag and dragging her to her feet.

She follows suit and disappears into the bathroom.

Now to clean this mess up.
