"You will each go up to the stand one by one. Answer their questions, answer mine, and try your best to keep your answers straight to the point. Nothing more and nothing less" Chrono's lawyer instructed us.
He took over informing us of what will be happening. The city made a mistake and appointed Chan a Lawyer instead of Chrono at first. They fixed it though.
"I understand there are some mental illnesses amongst you guys?" He inquires, leading us down the hallway.
"Yes Sir" Chan answers, leading the group.
"Should there be a need for resources to regulate, I have convinced some of my connections to lend me a court room service dog. If something happens and one of you can no longer continue I will ask for a recess" He informs us, stopping at huge brown doors.
We all nod in response.
"Perfect. It's go time babyyy" He says, whispering that last statement.
He's either a really good lawyer, or a really bad one by the way he's acting. I can't quite tell if we're going to have a Legally Blonde moment or not.
We walk into the room and sit down at a conference table. We're only witnesses not jury or the public so we can't be in the court room. At least that's what the attorney said.
"An officer will come escort you one by one as we call witnesses. I'll see you guys in there" He says after we've all sat down, turning to walk right back out of the room.
I hate court.
It's so boring and stressful.

After a few days of this trial we finally accomplished what we wanted. Chrono will be held in prison but will be part of a program to rehabilitate and transition into society! Hopefully this was the right choice and we didn't just save an actual monster. I'd like to think I have pretty good judgment though.
Speaking of judgement, I went to the appointment to discuss the investigation opened on my mental hospital. It was in fact my parents.
The amount of paperwork I've done and phone calls I've had to make since then is astronomical. I couldn't go back to work because of the Chrono trial, so I had to bring my work to me. Meaning I went to my office and grabbed all my essential shit and I've been managing from the kind of comfort of the couch and Chan's bed occasionally.
Now that the trial is over though I can go back to the office. Lilith isn't going back for a little longer. She's taking something very hard and honestly I'm a little worried.
"Chan! You ready!" I yell from the front door, waiting for this dude.
"Yeah!" He yells back, clambering down the hall and emerging in front of me with a bag.
I smile and we walk out to my car.
It's about 6:00am right now so we're both a little groggy. The sole reason I had us get up this early is because I need gas, coffee, and a damn bagel. I want that processed fast food shit to wake me up.
"What's your Starbucks order and do you want anything to eat?" I ask Chan, pealing out of the driveway.

"Alright! This is my facility, as you can see it's dinosaur themed. The first floor is just for check ins and check outs. There are a few rooms for evaluations and a couple offices" I start my tour, Chan following close behind me as I walk to the front desk.
"NO WAY! Y/N!" Yeosang says, hopping up to greet me.
"Hi there my friend! I've got a special someone here that needs to be added to our partial list" I cut to the chase, letting my smile linger on the sunshine boy in front of me.
