He's A Victim Too

We make our way to the front entrance. Changbin and Chan bringing up the rear and watching our back. I pull out my flashlight to see better as it's dark as hell. The warehouse is huge and seems to have vegetation absolutely loving it.

We get to the door and everyone surrounds me facing towards the open field. I take out a bobby-pin and get to work. It's a standard lock so this takes no time at all.

Once I've unlocked it I tap Seungmin on the shoulder. He turns around signaling to the others that we've gained access.

"Deep breaths guys. We can do this" Minho whispers.

All of us take a deep breath in unison and open the doors. Immediately we locate a light switch and illuminate the area. There's so many people. How are we going to find Jeongin, Lilith, Felix, and Han?

The question lingers in the air as we split to disperse the speakers. I'm paired with Seungmin for this infiltration. He and I are stationed at the back left corner.

I get a text that all of the speakers are placed. Giving Seungmin a nod we venture out into the crowd to search for our friends.

I'm holding onto his shirt so hard I put wrinkles in it. Oops. So far I don't spot anyone. Not even my parents.

"Found her!" Seungmin says, pulling me backwards with him.

When I turn around I see Lilith standing next to a man and a woman that look a little too familiar. Who are they?

I creep closer, pulling Lilith away from them and into the arms of Seungmin. Before we head back to our corner I get a look at the man and woman.

"Well hello there mom and dad" I say with a condescending smile, turning back towards Seungmin and Lilith and leading them to our position.

"Hyunjin and I have Han and we're posted"

Seungmin and I chose the Broadway Does Punk version of The Phantom of the Opera. We thought it was loud enough and bonded over the musical.

I hold Lilith while Seungmin starts the song. Lilith begins to come back and takes in her surroundings. Once she notices who's with her she breaks and hugs me. I let her cling to me and look around at the other people. They're also in a state of confusion. Some are walking around calling out names. Others are crying.

All of this stops when we hear the three taps. Seungmin turns down our speaker, followed by everyone else. Then we wait for Chan to speak.

He begins, "I know you all are probably very confused. But please bare with us. The man you know as Time has kept you here in a trancelike state. To combat that trance you have to stay on your own beat that is different from his. This is why we played varying types of loud music to break you out. We are going to do our best to catch Time, correctly known as Chrono, and protect you to the best of our abilities. At the back two corners are my friends, they will usher you out of the back entrance."

Upon hearing that last part we take our cue to open the doors. Seungmin and Minho keep people from exiting while Hyunjin, Lilith, and I open the doors. Han is clinging to Minho for dear life.
