Chrono (Chan x reader)

Annnddd.. Scene!!

*A few years later*

"WE HAVE T- MINUS 10 MINUTES TO GET THE FUCK OUT OF THIS HOUSE AND IN THE VAN" Minho informs us, standing impatiently at the front door.

We don't bother answering and continue to scramble around. Someone can't find a sock, another is looking for a shoe, Lilith is doing eyeliner, I'm trying to make sure any last minutes clean up is done. There's just utter chaos right now.

Why?

Well what a great question.

We pick up Chrono today!

And then we have to get him settled into his own place, get him a job, and so on. Basically we need to mentor this dude and make sure he can pay his dues so he can go home.

It's going to be taxing but it'll be worth it.

Anything kind and helpful is worth doing.

"Thank you so much! You honestly have no idea how much this means to me" Chrono says as we walk up to the house.

"It's no big deal! You've done all the hard work, we just gave you the reality check and push you needed" I reply, holding the door open for everyone.

Chan is last and holds the door. I don't even bother arguing so I give him a quick kiss on the cheek and head inside. He's such a gentleman omg.

We all get situated on the couch. Chrono said that there was something important he needed to tell us.

"So as you all have found out, my punishment was to pay my guardians for the time I spend on earth. I obviously did not pay it the way they wanted me to. And I paid that price big time in jail and the rehabilitation program. My guardians saw this and came to speak with me when the guards weren't watching and everyone was asleep" He starts, taking a pausing to look at his hands as he twiddles his thumbs.

He looks up at us and continues, "I'm going home. I don't have to get a job and pay them back. They felt I was put through enough heart ache and that I've learned my lesson. And they're right. They are so so right. I feel so bad for you humans."

We all laugh a little at that last part, because yeah that checks out.

"I'm so happy for you! When do you go home?" Chan asks as we all get a tad emotional.

It's like watching your kid move out and start their life.

"Uh, today" He answers, scratching his neck nervously.

"Oh! Well if that's the case then Minho will you fire up the grill, I'll get started on stove top foods, Y/N can you start on rolls. Changbin and Jeongin please get the extra table leafs and out that together. Han and Felix do you mind helping me out by having the sweets covered? And Jeongin, Lilith, and Seungmin will you three float around and entertain our guest or help where someone needs help?" Chan says, going into dad on the 4th of July mode.

We all set to work, determined to make his last day one to remember.

I mean he needs to have at least something to potential take home.

Oooo, I should see if he can take stuff with him and maybe he can share Felix's chocolate chip cookies and brownies with his family!

"Okay you humans might live on a hell scape,  but damn do you have good food!" Chrono says, absolutely scarfing his plate.

"I'm glad you like it! We tried to keep it as simple as we could" Minho replies, mirroring everyone's enthusiasm.

"Are you able to take things with you when you go home? I wanted to send you off with at least some sweets for you and your family" I ask, getting nods of approval from everyone else.

"Oh thank you! I actually can, just as long as I'm holding it" He answers, seeming very thankful and happy that I thought about something like that.

Aww.

"Perfect! I'll put some on a ziplock for you!" I reply, and we all continue eating and talking.

This feels nice. Surrounded by people I love and care about. Sending off someone I helped and that genuinely learned for the better.

Lilith and I seriously could not have found a better group to wedge ourselves into.

She found her true love, and Changbin is head over heels for her as well.

And I found mine.

My handsome, kind, loving, strong, and smart boy. Chan is everything I could've wanted and more.

I'm just so happy. I never thought I could be this happy. This seems like the impossible scenarios I would dream about years ago.

But they aren't daydreams anymore.

This is my reality.

I am cared for, happy, have a great job and great friends, I am loved.

But most importantly, I was given more time.

We were all given more time.

And because of that I don't think any of us will ever take the time we have here for granted ever again.

We can all now enjoy life, enjoy each other.

"You okay my love?" Chan asks, noticing tears silently streaming down my face.

I smile at him,"I'm okay, just happy that I get more time with everyone. Especially you."

He smiles back and pulls me in for a short and sweet kiss. Just packed full of love and care.

"Ewwww" Everyone says.

"Oh shut up!"
