Chapter 7

(Y/n POV)

Ugh, why is Herobrine so strict all I want to do is go to the library, is that to much to ask. My thoughts were interrupted by the doors to my study opening. I looked behind me to see the king of the Nether himself.

"What do you want?" I asked a bit harshly.

"Is that really the greeting I deserve? I've treated you like a princess here and here you are one, along with your friends."

"This is more of a prison than a fairytale castle if you ask me."

Though what he said was true. After kidnapping us from the overworld he has treated us like his daughters. We never returned the same sentiment only because he ripped us from the arms of the ones we loved and the place we loved. The Nether though isn't all that bad, sometimes the zombie pig man guards bring their daughters to work. It turns out that woman who do not desire to live in the overworld are brought here and marry the pig man, so when they have kids they are either zombies who actually have brains, zombie pig man that have more human characteristics or a human pig hybrid.

Herobrine saw the saddened expression on my face and softened. He walked over and hugged me. After everything I hugged back. Herobrine has acted nothing but like a father to me, Alesa, and Fluffy and all we ever do to him is turn away.

"Y/n, I'm sorry that this place feels like a prison but I took you guys to protect you." He pauses and gives me a small squeeze." Now, I have sent Alesa and Madison to the seamstress to have new dresses taylored for a ball that will be thrown in a few weeks."

I pull away slightly to look at him." What's the ball for?"

"A special occasion that you will find out about when the ball is thrown." I huffed a little." Now don't get upset. I know you don't like surprises but it's a very important one so bare with me."

"Can I atleast get a hint?" I asked with begging eyes.

"Yes, the ball is for you, Alesa, and Madison."

"That doesn't exactly narrow it down but it's something so thanks." I let go and stood beside him." Is there a specific type of gown you want us to have made?"

"A ball gown since it will be a ball. You may have more gowns made. Why do you not where any that I send you? Why your overworld clothes?"

"The gowns you send aren't usually the best," I say looking away. It's true! He's a man, we're woman. He wouldn't be able to have a nice gown made if his life depended on it." Plus it's all I have left from the overworld since when we first came here you took everything else we had."

"Oh.... I'm sorry but they were weapons, I did not want you harming my guards."

"I know, but that's not all they took. They took the locket I had, the bracelet Madi had and the amulet Alesa had. Is there anyway that you still have those?" I asked with pleading eyes.

"I had no idea.. Yes, I will have those brought back immediately!" Herobrine said as he turned to leave.

Before he could I gave him a quick hug.

"Thank you!" I said as I squeezed him.

"Your welcome! Now I must go, I will see you later." Herobrine let go and left.

I was over whelmed with the feeling of joy. The locket was the only thing that I had that had any real sentimental value. Everything else I left with my parents. Seto gave it to me as a birthday present a long time ago. I've never let it out of my sight until it was taken. The locket is enchanted so it will show me anything I want to see or what I desire most.(like the mirror in Beauty and the Beast and the mirror from Harry Potter)(picture in media) Fluffy's bracelet was a budder band that was given to her by Ian, and Mitch gave her a diamond sword charm to put on it. Alesa of course, we all know about her amulet.

I raced out of my room to find Alesa and Fluffy. Alesa was most likely in her room, Fluffy is most likely in the dining hall or kitchen. I'll get Alesa first since her room is closest. I knocked on the door but there was no answer. Where could she be? I decided to wonder around. I rounded a corner near the kitchen to hear Fluffy and Alesa talking.

"What do you think the ball is for?" Alesa asks sounding nervous.

"I don't know, maybe it's just a chance to serve more food." Fluffy says.

"Yeah, they're throwing a ball to serve food." Alesa says sarcastically.

"Hey, you never know." Fluffy said and giggled.

I walk in to see them sitting at the table. Servants bustle around getting things ready for lunch.

"Hey, y/n! Whatcha doin?" Fluffy asks.

"I've been looking for you. Have you guys decided when your gonna go to the seamstress?"

"We can all go together. I'm kinda scared to go alone, that pig is scary!" Fluffy says and shivers.

Me and Alesa laugh and agree. Though she isn't wrong, the zombie pig that's the seamstress is older and is quite scary. We sit and talk until lunch is served in the dining hall. We walk in together to be greeted by a table full of people. We all freeze and look at them wide eyed. There are no woman at the table, just men who look like they range from the age 18-50.

"Any ideas on what going on and who these people are?" I whisper to Fluffy and Alesa.

"I don't know, maybe they came for the food too?" Fluffy says not taking her eyes off the men. One of her ears twitch and she looks behind us as servants come out and usher us to our seats.

What does Herobrine have planned?
