Abby POV

The next morning, I went to Amy's bedroom and decided to question her about last night.

"What?", she rolled her eyes at me.

"I wanted to know about last night", I closed the door. "I just wanted to know- did I- like..." I stuttered, but just then, Mum knocked and opened the door.

"Amy, breakfast's ready love- oh, good morning Abby!" she kissed me. "How did you sleep?"

"I didn't", I shrugged. "Hey mum, did I become like- a werewolf last night?"

Both her and Amy got shocked of how I just pulled this question out of my sleeve. They looked at each other before Mum answered briefly: "Abby, love, you were probably lucid dreaming last night. You were-"

"I have an evidence that I wasn't", I cut her off, taking off my T-shirt I was wearing and showing my back to her. There was a deep scar that I saw when I got dressed in my bedroom earlier. "If I was lucid dreaming about being a werewolf, how did I get this scar?"

Amy looked at Mum and they nodded.

"Yes, Abby", Amy answered. "You were bitten by a werewolf last night. You weren't dreaming."

I already knew that, but truth still hurts. I'm never going to be the same anymore from now on. I couldn't face the fact that I'm going to live like an animal once a month!

"Mum".

"Yes, sweetie?"

"Can you please not share this information about me on the Daily Prophet?" I begged. "I just don't want to draw attention at school, and also... I don't want to lose my friends."

"Honey," she sat down on Amy's bed and I sat down next to her. "Remember – those who are your real friends and love you just the way you are as a person will never leave you. Those who are just your friends so they could be added to your friend list and not really care about you as a person, will leave you. Think of those who are your friends genuinely for loving you, like Louis, or Roxanne, or Lily, or Ed. They'll always be there for you, no matter what. Okay?"

She did have a point, so I nodded. "Thanks, mum", I hugged her.

"And remember of course, I'll also be there for you always." She said and kissed me.

"Now, I don't know about you, but I'm starving and I don't want everyone to finish the pancakes down there", she said and I quickly got up.

I can't miss pancake day!!

After breakfast, I sent an owl to Ed, telling him I missed him at the party and wanted to meet him, since he wasn't at the engagement party, and I wanted to tell him something important.

He told me he'd be around 5 today, so I took a shower and got ready to tell my boyfriend the truth.

I was skeptical about telling him also about the werewolf thing, but I decided – if I don't want a romantic relationship with him anymore, I might as well give him an explanation.

My heart was racing when I heard his knock on the door. Everyone, including Louis and Victoire, who came with her husband earlier and by the way was very pregnant, was at the dining room having tea, so I led him upstairs.

When he got inside, we just greeted each other without kissing. I felt like he wanted to say the same, and I felt relieved at that thought.

"Want anything to drink before we head up?", I offered.

"Just water, thanks."

"Ok, I'm coming in a second."

When I came back with the water, we both sat down on my bed, and there was an awkward silence for a while, until he spoke up.
