Red flag

The park

Jade was lying on her bed reading one of her favourite books it ends with us by colleen hoover as she heard her phone ping. She quickly threw her book aside as she saw who texted her, Nicky Thompson.. the girl she had been friends with for about 5 years. She wouldn't do anything rather then texting or talking to her.

Nickle🥒: hey bitch, wanna hang out today?
Jade💕: sure, where?
Nickle🥒: the park?? I meaann 9 outa 10 times we go to the park theres at least one hot guy for us to look at.
Jade: lol i totally agree😭
Nickle🥒: so what time?
Jade💕: 13:30?
Nickle🥒: thats fine by me
Jade💕: i do need to walk my dog around 3 though.... But you could come with me
Nickle🥒: yeah sure, see ya there😗

As soon as Jade turned off her phone she walked over to her closet to pick an outfit to wear. It's still pretty cold outside since its February and it was literally snowing last week. So she decided to wear an orange sweater and some basic blue jeans... she didn't really have much clothes too choose from anyway. Jade quickly threw on some mascara grabbed her bag and walked down stairs since it was now 13:23

"Where you going?" Her mom asked not looking up from her phone.

"Im headed to the park" Jade told her

"with who?" Her mom asked again still not looking up from her phone

"Nicky"

her mom finally looked up from her phone and said "why are you never hanging out with anyone else? Every time you go somewhere is to the park and when i ask with who its always Nicky"

Jade looks at her confused "most of the time Sam is there too... and i don't see the problem in going to the park with my best friends.... Why don't you like Nicky?" She asked

Now Jades mom was the one looking confused "of course i like Nicky and i know she's your best friend along with Samantha or Sam as you call her but wouldn't it be fun to hang out with other friends too?" Her mom asked

"well i don't have any other friends"

"then make some...get out there and socialise with new people."

Jade didn't say anything for a few seconds and then said "i gotta go... i told Nicky i'd meet her at 13:30 its now 13:29 soo.."

"Fine go, be home at 5."

"5:30??"

".... Okay but no later"

"Thanks bye mom"

Jade probably broke the world record for the fastest time in putting on shoes and then basically ran outside to grab her bike and rode as fast as she could to the park. Jade was always late, and she knew it... everyone around her knew it but she can't help it she just can't. She broke her record as she reached the park in less then 3 minutes but she was still too late.. she rode around the corner and saw Nicky waiting for her at their usual hangout spot looking annoyed because Jade was late yet again

"Okay Nicky, Before you say anything.... It wasn't my fault." A out of breath jade said as she stepped off of her bike

"oh really Jade... who's fault was it this time or did you just loose your keys again!" Nicky pretty much yelled

"HEY!..... i mean you can't blame me if i did we both have ADHD..."jade said

Nicky's face softened and she said "fax" as she laughed

"okay so whats the plan" jade asked

"i don't know.... wanna get some food first? im starving and you know i get hangry" nicky said

"yeahh last time didn't go so well.... i was kinda scared of you to be honest" jade responded thinking of that time nicky got mad at everything without any reason but then she got her food and everything was fine....

Nicky laughed "okay so food it is, lets go!"

as soon as they got into the store Nicky started getting al of her favourite foods. to most people the food she got was really weird and unsual but Nicky didn't care she got them anyways. she grabbed things like mozzarella, a jar of pickles, shrimp crackers, instant noodles and obviously two cans of redbull. jade also got instand noodles, weirdly they both loved eating them raw. She got some redbull as well.

they payed for their stuff, got some weird looks, sended some weird looks back and walked out of the store. when they got to their spot they sat down on the grass and just started talking (which usually means talking shit or just talking about random things).

"hey you wanna turn on some music cause i feel like that would really se-" before Nicky could finish what she was about to say she was interupted by loud music comming closer and closer.

as they both tried to look at the source of the music which was comming from their right side behind the bushes, it kept comming closer. then two shilloettes came from behind the bushes around the corner. they had a white ball and where headed to the small soccer field across from the two girls. they both looked at them and back at eachother repeatedly without saying anything for a few minutes until Nicky broke the silence...

"hold on that guy's fucking hot!" Nicky said a little bit too loud.

"omg well you don't have to scream im right here and he's right there he problably heard you,  you dumbass." Jade said as she saw the boy look their way "......okay yeah he definitly heard you"

"whoops... well i mean now at least he knows" nicky said not regretting her actions

Jade looked over to the two guys. one of them had a buzzcut and glasses, he was wearing a white shirt and casual blue pants. the other guy who Jade and Nicky thought was flaming hot had brown curly hair, was wearing a black shirt with an army printed jacked and casual blue pants as well. Jade however didn't reallise that the curly headed guy was looking at her while she was checking him out. when she reallised that he knew she was looking she stared blushing and he had the biggest smirk stuck on his face while he kicked the ball. Jade quickly looked away and turned to Nicky.

"you know i dont think you had to tell him that.... im pretty sure he already knew.."

okay so.... that was my first chapter, i hope liked it. im gonna try to update as fast as i can because when im reading a story i hate when someone updates like once a month.

please lemme know what you think so far and tell me if i made mistakes or something
