Jade's pov

3 hours have passed and we've only had 2 customers so far. An elderly woman who was looking for something to lighten up her home and a woman who needed to buy a birthday present....

Jessica was out delivering while me and Sam were both just peacefully reading "OMG!" Sam randomly broke the silence making me jump "omg what!?" I say "you never told me about that Mason guy" she says wiggling her eyebrows

I laugh "first off all.... Jason not Mason and secondly you didn't ask" is say

"Okay then.... Please tell me about Jason" she says giving me puppy eyes as she folds her hands together

I chuckle "okay well.... Me and Nicky met him yesterday and at first i kinda felt sketchy about him but i guess he's fine" i say

She smiles "what was he like?" She said resting her chin in her palms like some kind of toddler

"He has brown curly hair, blue dreamy eyes, a sharp jawline and he's got muscles but not to much just the perfect amount of muscle you know?" I say describing him "and then he was kinda funny, but also caring cause he immediately wanted to know if Cindy was okay so thats good i guess" i say smiling "oh and he tried to get to know me... i just didn't give in cause I didn't trust him"

She slightly gasped "girl.... Where'd he come from? He sounds kinda perfect" she says smiling

I chuckle "I honestly don't know but yeah i guess he's okay.... He texted me good morning, and wished me a good day" i say as i feel my cheeks flush.... Damn where'd that come from.. since when did i start to like him?

"YOU HAVE HIS NUMBER!?" She shout just as Jessica walks back in with an angry look on her face

I glance at Sam and back at her "you okay Jess?"
I ask. She looks at me and says ".... No! Do you have eyes? Look at me!" She says as she gestures to herself

I look at her confused.... "What happened?" She scoffs "what happened is that it started raining! and now my heels are dirty because when i stepped out of the truck i stepped in mud!! I want a raise!!!" She shouts angrily

Sam scoffs "it's your own fault that you decided to wear heals!...." She says defensive

"What? would you expect me to wear those ugly things you're wearing? They look like an ogre spit on them" she spits angrily

"Well maybe look where you fucking walk! Don't you have eyes!!!" Sam backfires again and i just stand there as the keep fighting

I sigh and walk towards the back of the store and fix some flowers as Sam and Jessica are still arguing... i grab my phone to text Nicky but then remember she was going to the hospital for checkups with Cindy so instead i decide to text Jason

Jade🤍: hey, u busy?? Need a distraction

I put my phone back to continue with the flowers but i hear it buzz and see Jason already texted me back

Jason: no i got time, wassup?
Jade🤍: work drama. Our employee got her shoes dirty and now she's mad
Jade🤍: tell me something... what're you doing?
Jason: i'm having lunch with my mom, but she's taking a phone call right now so i'm just sitting here.
Jade🤍: sounds fun... yet boring. are you close with your mom?
Jason: yeah kinda... just don't see her much because of her work.
Jade🤍: oh that must suck....
Jason: yeah.... Where do you work anyway?
Jade🤍: i own a floral shop with my best friend... best thing in the world :)
Jason: wow that's amazing! I'll need to visit some day ;)
Jade🤍: yes please, we could use more customers
Jason: i will then... gotta go, my mom's almost done, talk to you later x
Jade🤍: bye :)

Did he just send me a kiss? An x means kiss right?.... Sam's gonna freak

I walk back towards the counter where sam is stood eating pasta.... Interesting "where'd she go?" I ask her

She looks at me as she stuffs her face "home" she mumbles with her mouth full "to get a new pair of heals... ugh she's such a suck up"
She says annoyed as she puts her fork down

I chuckle "where'd you even get that from?" I ask to which she shrugs

"I don't know.. it was in my bag but it's tasting great right now" she says grinning "who where you all smiley about back there?" She ask smirking

I look down at my feet "just Jason... he's lunching with his mom right now but he said he wanted to visit the store sometime" i say grinning

"Girrrll you're whipped" she smirks

I widen my eyes "what!? No I'm not, I don't even know him.." i say

"And yet you blush every time you talk about him and don't think I didn't notice the fact that you used the word dreamy to describe his eyes" she says as she wiggles her eyebrows

I stand up "whatever" i say defeated as she sits there smirking "i'm gonna go she if any orders came in" i say as i walk towards the back

"Have fun thinking about Mr. McDreamy!!!!" She shouts to which i flip her the finger

I walk towards the computer in the back as i see a few perfectly fine white lily's on the floor... they must've slipped out when Jessica was packing the orders.... I'm definitely taking these home, my mom loves lily's. I hear the doorbell ring meaning a customer just came in.... Well Sam's just gonna have to handle that

I see we did indeed get a few orders... i start collecting some of the flowers and begin making the orders. One of the orders includes a few red daisies but i'm not sure if we have those yet

I walk out front to ask Sam "hey Sam do you know if we have red daisies in sto~" i cut myself of as i see two customers standing in front of the counter.. a beautiful blond haired women with blue eyes and next to her..... Jason
