you woke up to a muffled, buzzing noise filling your ears. you groaned and overlooked it, graham was laying on your chest, drooling and he had his hands tightly wrapped around you. while ignoring the ringing sound in your half awaken state, you pulled him even closer to you and shut your eyes. 

the ringing sound subsided and you felt yourself dozing off to sleep but the noise came back again, this time causing you to shake awake completely, you let out a sigh of annoyance as you realised it was your phone. you sat up without waking graham up and put the phone against your ear, 

"hello?" you asked in your morning voice. 

"you forgot to call me." said crystal from the other end, she had a disappointed look on her face.

"i- shit! i was going to!" you rubbed your eyes and let go of graham. 

"are you okay? where are you?" she asked. 

 you walked over to the window in just a bra from last night, you noticed a bottle of red wine sitting on the table and you decided to pour yourself a glass of it.

"yeah, at my dorm right now." you took a sip from the glass while staring at the view graham's flat window had to offer. 

you didn't tell crystal the truth because you didn't want to complicate things and after all, crystal didn't need to know every little thing about your life. 

"so why didn't you call?" she asked. 

you sighed, "we erm- slept in." 

crystal let out a sligh gasp, "who's we?" 

"i mean- me!" you gave yourself a mental face plam for fucking that up. 

"okay y/n you've either got a secret boyfriend or you've kidnapped someone." crystal stated in a genuine tone. 

you let out a laugh and so did she. 

"i promise, ive got neither i mean the kidnapping scenario might be true actually but -" as soon as you replied with that, you felt graham hugging you from behind. he had woken up and felt immediate seperation anxiety from you. 

crystal chuckled, "yeah anyways you really slept in y/n, it's 7 in the evening!" 

"what, is it?" 

graham took a sip from the glass of the wine you were holding and you let him. 

"yeah but it's fine! we all went home very very late." crystal added on. 

"hmm." you nodded in agreement. 

you turned over and pulled graham in for a kiss. it was soft yet passionate, you could feel his morning tiredness and his excitement for this new beginning, both in the kiss. amidst it, crystal kept talking on the phone, you were still half listening as well. 

"you know, y/n- damon misses you everytime he's in pain at the hospital." crystal said. 

 you pulled away from graham and let him kiss down your neck, "really?" you said into the phone. 

 "i think you should visit him at the hospital again as his girlfriend oh wait- you two haven't put a label on it but still y/n, visit him. don't forget about him. be near him, he really needs you." crystal said. there was worry in her voice which was quite rare for crystal, she had always been a carefree, happy girl. 

 you took in what she said for a moment, graham had stopped and now he was hugging you really tight while resting his head on your chest again, you played with his hair while saying, "ok crystal, thanks and ill call you later."
