Chapter 4

TAW Chapter 4

(Brittany's POV)

It turns out that I had to share a room with two people I'd never met which I'm sure is going to be interesting.

The girls dorm rooms were on the left side of the school right next to to the forest and apparently my room was one of the lucky ones to have a fairly big balcony. Yay!

When Riley, Haden, Destiny and I reached the corridor of girl dorm room doors we said our goodbyes and Dmitry and I continued toward our room: number 305.

We reached the door to the room and all I could hear from behind it was giggling and the sounds of something soft hitting another something soft.

I opened the door slightly but big enough for my head to fit through and peered inside to see two girls, both with long, jet black hair that looked almost the same from where I stood, having a pillow fight.

All my stuff was still at the door where I had left it out of the way. So I grabbed both my pillows and ran in with a battle cry a threw the pillows one at each of the two girls. The pillow hitting the side of their face with force that jolted their heads to the side. They then turned their head toward me, shock spread across their faces which was then soon replaced by playful daggers and then a pillow to each side of my face.

Once the pillows fell to the ground I could she the two girls in front of me with wide grins.

They both looked completely identical apart from their eyes. The one to my left had bright blue eyes and the one to my right had vibrant jade eyes. But apart from that completely identical.

"Hi you must be our room mate.?" said the one with jade eyes putting her hand out for me to shake.

"My name is Janet and this is my twin sister Lauren. You must be Brittany or Britt as you prefer if I'm not mistaken." she said whilst I shock her hand.

I stared dumfounded my mouth slightly agape at the fact she new my name let alone my preferred nickname.

"Oh so your new at this whole 'angel' thing? Huh?" Lauren ,I think it was, said nodding her head in realization to my confused expression.

"Well most of us 'angels' usually pick up another power or skill you see and mine and Janet's is that we can read others minds."

"Cool!" I exclaimed with a nod of understanding.

"So is that your new animal mate? Is she a wind wolf?" Janet gushed.

"Yep and her name is Destiny or Dezzy for short. So where's yours?"

"I'll call him home hang on." Janet said turning toward the balcony's glass doors.

"Me too." Lauren then following her sister out to the balcony and then they both whistled loudly.

There was two loud screeches as if replying to there whistles.

Suddenly a pure black, bat the size of a full gown eagle, was flying toward Lauren and a what looked like an already fully grown, light brown, monkey jumped up from the ground on to the ledge of the balcony next to Janet.

"Brittany meet Gunther my earth monkey and Gunther meet Brittany my new friend." Janet said motioning between the monkey and I as she spoke.

"Yes and meet my fire bat Shadow and Shadow meet Brittany who is also my new friend." Lauren introduced doing the same as Janet.

"Hi guys nice to meet you. This is my new mate Destiny. She's a wind wolf." smiling broadly at everyone.

"Cool! So you don't have your powers yet?" Lauren asked curiously.
