Chapter 36 :- Surprise

Jungkook sat beside Emma's bed on a chair and looked at her face. It had a few bruises that were treated. Her soft pink lips had turned pale. She had a tired yet calm look on her face. However still she looked the prettiest in Jungkook's eyes.

He first caressed her invisible baby bump with a soft chuckle.

“Your mom is really strong, you should be like her.” He said it without noticing that Emma was listening everything.

Jungkook again looked at her face. She had her usual warm smile. Without realising a tear left Jungkook's eye. He felt like he fell in love all over again like the first time. Emma with a bit of struggle lifted her hand and wiped Jungkook's eyes.

Jungkook soon engulfed her into his tight embrace.

“Why did you do that? You should have let me get shot.” He finally spoke his heart out. Emma could see his eyes filled with worriedness for her and guilt that she had to take the bullet.

“Jungkook, I love you more than myself. How could I let you get hurt infront of me. Also see I am fine now, nothing happened to me.” Emma said assuring him.

“Still I feel like a bad boyfriend and a bad father.” Jungkook said and a few more tear drops fell from his eyes.

Emma with a bit of struggle sat straight on the bed and hugged Jungkook. Patting his back like he was a child she spoke, "No, you are the best boyfriend and best father. Our kid will be like you. The strongest."

Jungkook replied nothing anymore. They both kept the silence. They just kept on hugging like the first time. It surely was a hard time for both of them but they were able to fight together for each other and prove their love. Their love was strong enough to go through any kind of problems. Without speaking anything else both of them just got lost in the world of love.

~ 1 MONTH LATER

Emma was finally discharged from the hospital. She was now all fit and fine. Even though she wanted to join Jungkook once again as his personal assistant but Jungkook denied and said she should just take rest and enjoy her life like she has always dreamt of.

Emma came to know everything about Jungkook's past. She never imagined in her life that Richard will be Baek Hyun, Jungkook's step brother. However they got their punishment. Emma always felt relieved about how they got what they deserved.

“Darling, where are you?” Jungkook asked making Emma come out of her thoughts. She was cooking Jungkook's favourite food.

Before she could speak a pair of strong arms wrapped around her waist. It was Jungkook. He was careful about the fact that she was pregnant.

“What is my baby doing?” Jungkook asked in his deep voice leaving kisses on her neck. He gently turned her towards him.

“What happened why are there tears in your eyes?” Jungkook's expressions changed suddenly. However the next moment Emma burst out in laughter which made him look at her with utter confusion.

"Here, because of this" Emma showed him the onion that she was cutting. Seeing that Jungkook made a done face and Emma laughed once again.

"Ugh I didn't knew that the mafia king can be like this."

"Yah are you teasing me?" Jungkook said making fake angry face and then left the kitchen.

Emma fell into his trap and went behind him.

“Oh my bunny got angry on me? I am sorry” Emma said making her cute innocent face. Jungkook could never ignore it. He laughed internally at her but still thought of continuing the play.
