Chapter 12 :- Someone to console

“Hello sir, how may I help you?” A waiter asked. His looks screaming he was hell nervous on seeing Jungkook infront of him.

“Yeah, I want to be in my VIP lounge with her and have dinner.” Jungkook instructed maintaining a very cold subtle expression.

They were soon escorted to the lounge. Emma could stop looking at how vibrant and colourful it was looking. There were arrangements for them to relax, also there were a dozen of bottles of drinks for them. They could chose just anything. Everything was really calming and the incense of fresh flowers in the lounge somehow calmed Emma's nerves. The took their respective seats on the couch which had a table infront of it.

“I will have pasta, how about you Miss Emma?” Jungkook's raspy voice brought Emma out of her deep thoughts.

“Y-yes me too” she said gulping with anxiety and nervousness. Her heartbeat was fast and she felt it can explode at anytime.

After the waiter brought their food now Jungkook looked at her signalling to say whatever she had in her mind.

“Jungkook, as I said previously I had a boyfriend. We brokeup because he cheated on me however now he is giving me various threats................” and she narrated the whole story to Jungkook showing the texts and also about the call last night.

Jungkook who was relaxed at the beginning of her story started clenching his jaw and fist in anger by the end. He felt if Richard was present at the moment he would have punched him so bad.

It was already enough for Emma to face. She had been lonely from a very young age, after that a heartbreak from the least expected person, she was suffering a lot on top of that the pressure Richard started creating. Stalking all her movements, blackmailing her and also bringing her only brother into this matter. Unknowingly, tears started rolling down her cheeks as she completed telling everything to Jungkook. She was now feeling a lot lighter that she could say all these things to someone. Jungkook saw her crying and immediately took her into his embrace, rubbing her back he tried his best to console her.

“It's alright Emma, don't worry I will be helping you in this case. You are not alone anymore you have me." They parted and Jungkook looked at Emma's eyes. Those beautiful eyes had tears. He wiped them with his thumb cupping her face he looked at her and said, “You will never be alone again Emma, I will be there to protect you.” Emma felt a lot more relieved at his words. Looking into his dark eyes she could sense the comfort. She could feel a strong connection to him as if they were meant to be.

However soon she shrugged her thoughts and they parted. Jungkook then dropped her at home and after bidding her goodbye he went back to his home. He had a special visitor at his house today. Someone he was not really expecting.

“Baek-Hyun?” Jungkook asked raising an eyebrow seeing the man that was sitting on the couch.

“Hyung! It's Jeon Baek-Hyun for you.” He said gritting his teeth. He hated Jungkook.

“Huh! Who said that you can have that name? You are just a mistake.” Jungkook said pointing at the other.

“Yes! A mistake but your dad loved my mom more that's why he killed you mom. Also you don't deserve the company it will be mine soon.” The man said smirking at Jungkook.

These words boiled Jungkook's blood. Baek-Hyun was his step brother. Jungkook's dad had an extra marital affair with his mom. However after his father's death Jungkook got all the property because being his legal son. However Jungkook would never forgive his step mother and step brother, they were the reasons he lost his mom. He regretted that day even now cursing his Dad and step brother for everything. Meanwhile Baek-Hyun was jealous of Jungkook on inheriting all the property as he was both older and legal son. 

They were now standing close to each other gritting their teeth, clenched jaws , fuming in anger and could kill each other at any moment. However Baek-Hyun backed off smirking and said, “Not today hyung, I'll soon take revenge from you just wait and watch.”

Saying this he went out of Jungkook's house. Jungkook plopped onto the couch, rubbing his temples. He was frustrated and tired. His step brother would always remind him about the night of incident. The night he wanted to forget forever but he couldn't. It would always haunt him and gave him nightmares. Taking a deep breath he opened his phone and got a bit happy by the following message. It was from Emma.

“Thank you Jungkook for listening to me ❤️”.

“Anything for you” Jungkook typed back blushing.

Emma also blushed reading Jungkook's text. She could feel herself being in love with him.

A call suddenly from Jungkook's side suddenly startled Emma who was deeply lost into her thoughts.

“Yes, sir? I mean Jungkook”. She asked a bit flustered by his sudden call.

“Well, my friend is throwing a party tomorrow so it will be nice if you join me tomorrow.” Jungkook said keeping his voice as calm as possible.

“Yeah sure sir” Emma said. It was weekend next day so she anyways had nothing else to do the whole day than to slouch around.

“Ok, I will send you a dress tomorrow and pick you up sharp at 7pm.” Saying this he cut the call.

Jungkook was all excited for the next day. He would propose her to be his girlfriend next day so he arranged it all. After going in the party he will confess his feelings for her. The party was being hosted by Jungkook's bestfriend Taehyung so they planned it together.

He immediately opened an online shopping app and started browsing costly dresses. He was searching for Emma. Emma had really good curves so he was searching for a one piece that would fit her well. Soon he found the perfect dress and heels, so he immediately placed the order. He smiled and said in his mind, “You will be looking the prettiest tomorrow, love.”
