Chapter 40 :- Happy Ending

~4 years later.

"Noooo I no eat food. I wan choco." A little girl said whining to her mother.

"Jiya don't disturb me. Eat the vegetables or no chocolates and no ice cream."

The little girl pouted and said, "Dada will give meu" Saying this she ran over and hugged her dad's legs.

He quickly picked her up in his arms and kissed her cheeks. "What is my princess doing huh?!" He said bopping her nose with his which made the little girl giggle in happiness.

"Uff Jungkook, now you only feed her. I can't anymore. She is always wanting chocolates and ice cream."

"Awww my princess wants to eat chocolate?" The kid nodded her head immediately.

"Ok dada will buy the whole shop for his princess but first you need to listen to mommie and eat all the vegetables."

"You give me choco then?"

"Yes then I will give you." Saying this he sat on the couch and made her sit on his lap. Taking the plate on his hand he fed her.

"She's been totally daddy's girl. Jiya does not love mumma at all." Emma said and sat beside them showing fake sadness. However the little kid immediately hugged her and said, "No mommie, Jiya loves you too".

"Really?" Emma said and hugged her. Soon she slept on her embrace and Emma laid her head on Jungkook's shoulder.

"Baby you seem really tired! Is everything okay." He asked being concerned.

"Yes, it's just I am a bit tired nothing else." She said and sighed.

Jungkook nodded and said, "You go have a bath I will make her sleep." Emma agreed and went to their room while Jungkook took Jiya into her room. After placing her he came to his room.

He was busy working on his laptop while Emma came out. She had a towel wrapped around her body and her hair let open. It was wet.

She started drying her hair when a strong pair of arms wrapped around her waist. Jungkook could smell the lavender sent of hers.

"Are you luring the beast darling?" He asked in a deep voice. Emma widened her eyes at his words and turned to him. However Jungkook still kept his arms around her waist.

"Leave me I am really tired" Emma said trying to get rid of his hold.

"Why did you not wear clothes darling?" Jungkook asked which made her cheeks burn.

"Umm that I thought umm I will wear later." She said and gave an awkward smile.

"Is it so?" Jungkook said and slowly kissed her lips.

Reality was she wanted Jungkook too like he wanted her. So she did it on purpose and it worked.

Soon Jungkook pushed her on the bed hovering over her and kiss her passionately. Emma kissed him back.

Finally Jungkook broke the kiss and looked at her with eyes full of love. Just like he did the first time. Even though he was drunk and had no intentions but still. He slowly tucked the loose strands of her hair behind her ear and slowly yet lovingly kissed her cheeks. Her eyes. Her forehead.

"I am really Thirsty." Jungkook said suddenly. Emma furrowed her eyebrows and tried to get up to fetch him water.
But Jungkook just pushed her back on the bed.

"What happened? You are thirsty right?"
Emma asked.

Jungkook nodded and said whispering to her ear, "I am Thirsty for your Love." Emma understood what he meant and soon he covered them with a duvet and switched off the lights.

"Here and yes that posture is okay." A middle aged man said and clicked a photo. It was a family photo.

"Mommie we look so good." Jiya said smiling seeing the picture that has come as a frame.

"Yes darling" Emma said holding their daughter in her arms. Soon Jungkook came behind her and hugged them together and spoke, "Yes a happy family." He said and took Jiya in his arms.

Emma looked at them and suddenly some past memories came into her mind. She smiled unknowingly seeing her husband and daughter playing happily.

"Sometimes things may not go as we have planned but at the end everything is perfect. If it's not then it's not the end yet. 5 years back my one mistake did bring a very big change in her life but everything at the end I am happy. The boss I was scared to face once is now my loving husband and the father of my daughter."

"What happened?" Jungkook asked seeing Emma zoning out.

"Nothing I was just thinking how happy we finally are now." Emma replied smiling.

"Yes we will be happy forever if we are together."

And that's a wrap ✨. It's finally a happy ending for our characters. Emma finally got her true love even though it was all because of a mistake she created due to being drunk. After all sometimes mistakes are the real reason behind a good thing.

I truly loved writing this book. It was my first ever book that I started writing. I had improved a lot in writing over the days. I learned a lot from the mistakes I made but I never gave up. This book will always remain precious for me.
