Chapter 13:- A party #1

«Emma's pov»

It was 1pm in the clock. Today I have to attend a party with Jungkook. It was not a business party but he still insisted on bringing me. I have no friends in seoul so weekends are normally boring for me. I stay empty so I thought I can easily join Jungkook. That's when the door bell rang. I quickly opened the door and was welcomed with a delivery man. He was holding a box, I signed and took the box. While wondering what it was I recieved a call from Jungkook.

“Hello, Miss Emma that's a dress from my side. Please wear that on today's party.”

“Okay Jungkook.” I confirmed and disconnected the call.

Even though I called him by his  name but still I try to keep the honorifics as much as possible.

I opened the box to see a black one piece with some light shimmers, so that it didn't look basic and a pair of black heels. However what surprised me next was the price tag. I gulped after reading it, $10000, the dress and the shoes were of $5000.

I placed them delicately on the bed in my bedroom and layed down beside the gifts and sighed. I always had the dream of wearing such dresses but I always had the responsibilities of debts, tution fees etc on me. Even now the salary I get half of them I send to my brother. I was overwhelmed with the feelings.

For the next 2 - 3 hours I tossed on my bed and going through social medias. It was 4 pm when I decided to get ready. I first took a shower. After blow drying my hair I curled it. I then wore the dress gifted to me. I was shocked to see that the size of the dress was perfect for me. It was covering me well and was also showing my curves. I wore a necklace, a pair of earrings and a bracelet to accessorize myself. I wore a little bit of makeup, that is eyeshadow, eyeliner and a pinkish lipstick. I glanced myself in the mirror and smiled. I wore the heels and took a black purse with me. I was almost ready when there was a firm knock on the door. I knew who it was already.

I quickly opened the door and my heart skipped a beat looking at Jungkook. His hair set with gel, showing his forehead, he was wearing a black shirt the top two buttons were  open. The sleeves were rolled which showed all the tattoos on his muscular arms. I couldn't remove my eyes for a moment.

«Jungkook's pov»

I was standing at the door of Emma's house. I was suddenly feeling nervous and my heart was racing really fast. I gained all my courage to knock on the door. The view I saw after the door was opened made me go awestruck. I knew that Emma looked really beautiful, but today she was not looking any less than an angel. Her dress, her minimalistic makeup, her hair everything was looking perfect on her. I couldn't take my eyes off her.

«A/N»

They were lost in each other's eyes. However after sometime Jungkook got back into his senses so he scoffed to which Emma got back to reality as well. They both gave an awkward smile to each other before complimenting each other.

“Y-you look very b-beautiful Emma” Jungkook said first.
To which Emma replied,
“You a-also look really nice.”

Both of them could feel their heart beating at a very fast pace.

“So are you ready?” Jungkook asked and Emma just nodded as an yes.
After locking the door Emma followed Jungkook to his car. After making sure that she was sitting comfortably Jungkook closed the door and started driving the car. After almost 30 mins they reached their venue.

Jungkook held and out for Emma, she nervous took them and let him lead her inside the venue. Jungkook was really close to her, she could smell the cologne. The same that she smelled on that night and suddenly all those wild memories were flooding her mind. Her face turned all red at those thoughts which she shrugged off very soon.
