"Wednesdayyyyy the dogs need feeding!" Enid yelled up the stairs to her girlfriend who was currently stewing from being interrupted during her writing time.

Because of this she ignored the girl and continued on without answering her. The loud click of each key and satisfying sound of a rattle, click and ding made Wednesday breathe in contentment. This was not enough to drown out what she heard next however

"BAAAAAABE" was loudly yelled once again by Enid who stood expectantly at the bottom of the stairs.

She sighed and walked to the top of the stairs, staring down at her girlfriend with her eyebrows furrowed, almost in confusion.

"They are your dogs" Wednesday remarked not making any indication that she was actually going to walk down to her "And you are already downstairs darling" Wednesday attempted to hide her annoyance "what makes you unable to do it yourself?"she questioned but it felt more like a complaint. A reasonable one at that.

"They like you better" she shrugged and skipped away, not waiting for a response knowing full well her girlfriend would follow. If not to feed the dogs then to at least lecture Enid on writing time etiquette

Wednesday rolled her eyes and sighed, shaking her head. She could not believe the power this woman had over her, letting her interrupt her to feed the muts they had adopted TOGETHER.

She finished filling up the bowls and walked into the living room, narrowly avoiding a collision with the 2 golden retrievers that bombarded past her in a food fueled frenzy. She smirked as one stopped to nuzzle at her side and she scratched his head before he rushed off to eat.

Upon making it to the living room she placed her hands on her hips and raised her eyebrows waiting for her girlfriend to notice her presence.

It didn't take long.

When Enid did look up from her phone she smiled widely "Thanks Beautiful" she giggled sweetly.

"Do not flatter me" Wednesday scolded "You just sliced into my writing time... I'm going back upstairs" she announced her disapproval before attempting to leave

"Wait!" Enid yelled "Come here" she smiled expectantly across the room.

"Cara Mia I'm-" she began to protest but was quickly obstructed by Enid's words.

"But I want a cuddle" she whined reaching her arms out to the air and clenching her fists twice in a 'come here' motion.

Wednesday finally understood and she couldn't help but smirk slightly at her ridiculously cute Girlfriend. The way she pouted and tilted her head told Wednesday everything she needed to know about this ploy Enid had insighted.

Nevertheless, she did as requested, snaking her arms around Enid's waist and sitting beside her lightly pulling the blonde closer.

Enid hummed in happiness and snuggled closer into the raven haired girl's chest. Wednesday just looked down at her, placed a kiss on top off her head and exhaled lightly through her nose.

"Did the dogs even need feeding?" She asked Enid who just hummed in response again. "Or they did and you could have done it yourself but-"

"but I needed a reason to get you down here and if I told you I wanted to cuddle" she finished, squeezing her once more before raising her head to meet her eyes "you would have ignored me" she stated her master plan proudly and Wednesday smirked again.

"I wouldn't have ignored you" she weakly defended

"You wouldn't have come downstairs" Enid said a matter of factly.

"Cara Mia, I would do anything for you" she stroked a piece of hair behind Enid's ear being stupidly romantic as she usually did in private.

Enid's glazed eyes stared adoringly into Wednesday's enjoying the moment. But that moment was instantly ruined by an "oof" escaping her lips as their black cat jumped up onto her lap accidentally clawing at her stomach. Their second cat followed suit and Enid grunted in response as they walked across the women unbothered, desiring attention from them.

Wednesday had to hide the twinge of a smile on her face as she raised a hand to stroke the cat that twitched away from her and pressed it's head against Enid's torso instead. This urged Enid to run her hand lightly through the cats fur and smile at Wednesday.

"They like you better" Wednesday said almost offended by the cats rejection, watching while it purred from Enid's touch.

"I better be the one to feed them then" she laughed and attempted to leave Wednesdays hold on her.

"Excuse you" Wednesday remarked tightening her grip around Enid's waste "You're not going anywhere" she lightly threatened

"Huh...Babe the cats need-" she started

"You interrupted me and bought me down here just so you could leave me lonely?" Wednesday challenged her girlfriend

"Ummm" she thought about it for a moment

"I don't think so" Wednesday answered for her. She had accepted the interruption and was now enjoying the company of her bubbly girlfriend and their cats cuddled up on the sofa together. She took a moment to admire the delightfully strange family they had made for themselves.

She wasn't about to fight Wednesday on this so instead she settled back into her embrace once again.

"That's what I thought" Wednesday spoke rewarding her beloved with a light peck on the cheek.

"I still need to at some point" Enid reminded her.

"No it will cut into our cuddle time" Wednesday spoke as if this was a regular thing for them. She didn't blink, she didn't even acknowledge this fact, just continued to stroke Enid's arm lightly with one hand and the cat with her other. She just continued to enjoy the position she was currently in, curled up on the couch with Enid and their 2 furry babies.

"Oh we have cuddle time now?" Enid smiled widely with questioning eyes.

"It seems only logical if I wish for my writing time to be uninterrupted then I must schedule cuddle time for your emotional imbalance" Wednesday raised her eyebrows.

"Sure babe In the one with the emotional imbalance" she looked up at Wednesday absent-mindedly stroking the cat whilst talking to her.

"What?" She asked "You are happy an alarming amount of the time" she breathed and pursed her lips almost suspiciously.

"And you're the opposite" Enid giggled.

"Well then I guess opposites attract" Wednesday smiled ever so slightly using her index finger to tilt Enid's head up toward her so she could plant a light kiss on her lips.

"I'm gonna leave you to feed the cats if your not careful" she spoke against her lips, warning Wednesday of her power.

"I filled the cats bowls up, when I fed the dogs so your empty threat does not worry me" Wednesday had decided she had won.

Enid just rolled her eyes in response. The 2 blonde dogs took this opportunity to rush excitedly into the room and jump up onto the couch with the 2 women.

Enid smiled and Wednesday smirked. She grabbed the remote and switched the TV on for them to sit happily and enjoy each other's presence. Enid glanced over at the dogs whose tails were wagging wildly.

"You know they're not allowed on the couch" Enid spoke focusing her attention back to the Television.

"Why not? I let you on the couch" she teased and Enid slapped her stomach playfully in response.

"You're horrible" she pouted.

"Well I do try" Wednesday smirked before kissing the top of Enid's forehead lovingly and taking a light breath in.

They sat as family like this for the rest of the night Enid falling asleep on her chest along with their pets... 'So much for an hour' Wednesday thought to herself before closing her own eyes to fall into a peaceful sleep aswell.
