Y/n and Hitoshi had made it to Recovery Girl's makeshift office and the old woman gave the tired boy a kiss on the cheek to cure his bloody nose. While her brother was getting healed up, Y/n just stood by the door with her arms crossed.

Even though she had spent a considerable amount of time in the nurse's office when she first arrived at U.A., Y/n was pretty sure she'd never feel comfortable around doctors and medical equipment. Everything about it brought back memories that she'd rather forget, from the antiseptic smell to the rhythmic beeping of different machines.

"Alright, you should be perfectly fine by the end of the day! You kids should be more careful during this event." Recovery Girl said, turning to fill out some paperwork, "Now head back to the stands, the third match is about to start." There was a small television set in the room that Y/n had been watching to distract herself. The second match (Sero vs. Todoroki) had taken less than a minute, with the half and half boy encasing her tapey friend in a ginormous wall of ice. The clean up process took longer than the actual match itself. Hitoshi stood, thanking the old woman, before leaving the room with his sister right behind him.

"You did a good job in your match. I'm proud of you." Y/n nudged her brother as they walked, her hands in her pockets.

"I still could've done better, I think. I hope dad and pops aren't disappointed in my performance."

"They couldn't be disappointed in you if they tried, I'll bet they're gonna celebrate you getting as far as you did like you won the gold." They both laughed at the thought, knowing it was entirely plausible.

They started walking up the stairs, "Probably... I know you forgave me but, I'm sorry. I'll spend however long it takes making it up to you, you never would've said something like that to me. So, I'm sorry." They stopped at the general studies area, Hitoshi rubbing the back of his neck as he spoke to his sister.

"You're okay. Just try to forgive yourself too. That's how you can make it up to me." She gave him a genuine smile, "I have to get back to my class, I love you."

He gave her a small nod and returned the phrase before entering the 1-C seating area. Y/n quickly turned to walk back to the 1-A area, before the combined smell of arctic glaciers and cedarwood caught her attention– a monotone voice soon followed.

"Howlett, is your match soon? How come you aren't in the seating area?" The girl stopped and waited for the dual toned to catch up with her.

"Todoroki, hi. My match isn't until after Iida's, I was just walking my brother back from the nurses office." She thought for a moment before continuing, "Congratulations, by the way. That ice wall was something."

The dual haired boy looked at her for a moment as they walked, "Yes. I think it will help prove my point to my father quite nicely... Is your brother okay?"

So I guess we both decided to be amicable. Heh, maybe we could even be friends? At the very least acquaintances.

"Hitoshi is fine, just a bloody nose and some bruised knuckles... Are you okay? That much power must take a bit of energy or cause some kind of strain."

Todoroki flexed his right hand, "I'm fine, thanks. My father has forced me to train since my quirk developed, so I have a pretty good grasp on my abilities.

"I know the feeling. I was forced to train since my claws first poked through, once my healing kicked in full force that's when I was given my metal skeleton." Y/n flexed her own wrists, not paying much mind to what she was saying. It was weirdly easy to talk to Todoroki, he was a lot like her.

"Were you not born with it?" His red and white eye brows were furrowed as they approached the 1-A seating area.

"That's a... long story, let's say. Maybe I'll tell you sometime." That would be a big maybe, "Hey 'Roki, do me a favor? Don't mention that to anyone else, I'd rather not deal with the questioning and the looks."
