Hyunjin took a step back as he lightly pushed Elyot away. "That's very inappropriate young lord of Beauvarlet." Hyunjin said in an irritated tone.
"This is fine greeting for friends." Elyot grinned pulling away.
"We have never been that close." Hyunjin sighed.
"Right, you probably don't take me as a friend." Elyot laughed going inside the lodge as Hyunjin just looked with stunned eyes without saying anything knowing the elder wouldn't listen to him anyways.
"Why are you here?" Hyunjin asked.
"I'm here to take you home, pack your bags fast."
Hyunjin just looked at the elder with disbelief and entered the kitchen while leaving Elyot in the living room. It seemed like he only came to utter bullshit to Hyunjin.
"Hey, do you not believe me? How I'm holding to your-
"Young lord of Beauvarlet....." Christopher said in surprise.
"Why are you here?" Elyot asked.
"I should be asking you that. If you're here to play around the go back, I have things to do. My work has already been halted for someone." Hyunjin said.
"I'm telling you the truth, you're coming with me. I got permission from your master."
"You went to the mage tower?" Seeing there wasn't a reply from Elyot Hyunjin became even more irritated. "Why are you involving yourself in my business, I don't get it......"
"If you'd just leave with me I'll explain it to you."
"No, I won't and I ask you to leave my house this instant, don't make me repeat myself again." Hyunjin was genuinely angry now.
"Samuel.....I....I don't know the way back..."
"What?"
"I was confident you'd leave with me so I sent back the guard who came with me, he knew the way." Hyunjin simply facepalmed in irritation as Elyot scratched the nape of his neck. Meanwhile, Christopher was staring at them intently without saying anything. He almost laughed at Elyot's words, but held back in front of the young lord.
"Well I think I could take him with me when I go back." Christopher proposed.
"Why would you?" Elyot said.
"That sounds like a very good idea." Hyunjin seemed delighted. "In that case you two can just leave now and see your way." He added.
"Oh, you would throw out a sick person?" Christopher said in a sorry voice.
"Sick person? What am I missing? Also you never told me why you're here, lord." Elyot asked.
"I remember nursing you to all fine last night, you don't even have a scratch on you now." Hyunjin said ignoring Elyot's question.
"You nursed him last night? You're not a healer but a combat mage, Sam." Elyot asked again.
"Oh my god, why do you ask a lot of questions?!" Hyunjin said in a frustrated tone.
"Because I'm missing out a lot of information."
"I don't see why you need to know them. Be grateful I am not kicking you out for now." Hyunjin said as he left the kitchen leaving the two confused. He returned to his room and lay down on the bed once more. He sighed, knowing that his day's plans were through. He was hungry, but he didn't want to return to the kitchen and face the two of them again. He just wanted to live quietly here, but it appears that fortune was not on his side. To clear his mind, he closed his eyes and took a long breathe but due to overworking for weeks he soon fell asleep. By the time he woke up, the sun was setting. He immediately got up from bed and headed downstairs finding Elyot on the couch. The living room looked better as the scattered things were stored back and the table looked cleaner.
"What did you do?" Hyunjin asked walking towards Elyot.
"Oh, you're up. The room looked cluttered so I tried tiding it up, lord Christopher gave me a hand too." Elyot smiled as he grabbed on Hyunjin's hand pulling him down to sit on the couch. "You must be hungry." He added.
"I am." Hyunjin replied.
"Lord Christopher went out to buy something as none of us can cook." Elyot said with an apologetic smiled as Hyunjin just shook his head.
"You seem to know him." Hyunjin said.
"I do. Do you know him very well to nurse him at night?"
"No, I found him randomly in the woods, he seemed to need help so I brought him inside."
"Okay, stop talking about him." Elyot said holding on to Hyunjin's hand making drawings on his palm. "I have been wanting to tell you something for a while now." He added as Hyunjin just nodded without saying anything.
"Erm, it's not like I want you to give me an answer right away but I will be happy if you think about it." Elyot said.
"Young lord, if it's about going back home with you, then, no. I'm afraid I have different plans." Hyunjin explained.
"It's not that..... I keep telling you this but I think I will be glad if you just call me Elyot."
"That's not what you want to tell me."
"Right." Elyot sighed before looking directly at Hyunjin holding onto his hand tightly. "Samuel de Croix, I think I like y-
He was cut off as Hyunjin rushed to place his hands over Elyot's mouth to shut him down."Don't say it." Hyunjin said. "It won't bring us any happiness, I will never be able to give you what you want. Don't do anything you will regret" He added.
"No, you need to hear this even if it doesn't bring us happiness. Not everything in life has to be sweet and for me I'm not going to regret anything." Elyot said grabbing on Hyunjin's hand pulling them away over him. "I really like you..... I'm not expecting you to give me anything, I probably don't even exist to you. I just hope that if you ever choose someone, I get to be the person." Elyot smiled as Hyunjin looked away.
"And do you think people would support that idea?" Hyunjin asked.
"I could care less." Elyot said placing a kiss on Hyunjin's palm. Hyunjin immediately pulled away and stood up.
"I'm not hungry anymore. I don't care where you guys sleep tonight. Tell lord Christopher I want you two out of my lodge by tomorrow morning." Hyunjin said rushing towards this bedroom before locking to door. He was really fast that Elyot didn't even get a chance to say anything he couldn't even tell if the younger was mad at him. But he did just as he was told, he left with Christopher early in the morning because he had better plans now. He realised what Hyunjin wanted to do and if he could give that to the younger, maybe Hyunjin would be a bit warmer towards him, he thought.
Hyunjin felt he could finally breathe as the two of them were gone but before it was evening, Christopher was present at his place again.
"You haven't eaten anything for two days, so, I brought food." Christopher said taking steps inside the lodge.
"You think you can come and go like this is your home?" Hyunjin asked in an irritated voice.
"I'm only returning the favour plus I wouldn't want a pretty boy like you to pass away from exhaustion, you need to eat." Christopher replied. Hyunjin didn't reply but gulped down the food Christopher brought him. The hunger had finally got him as he couldn't stop eating and his body seemed to want more of it. Christopher just watched the younger eat in awe.
Hyunjin felt tired after eating as the serotonin levels went high after having a great meal and he fell asleep on the couch while Christopher was doing the dishes. As Christopher came out of the kitchen he found the younger sleeping carelessly so he helped him get to the bedroom. He took a few final glances at his benefactor before leaving the lodge, he genuinely debt towards Hyunjin. Even though he wished death, a death from an enchanted bullet wasn't something a vampire would desire.
