When Christopher entered Hyunjin's life, things took an unexpected turn. As they spent more time together, Hyunjin began to change. Christopher's demeanour, easy smile, and ability to understand Hyunjin's thoughts left an indelible impression on him. It was in those unexpected moments when Christopher's lips brushed against his skin, laying gentle kisses that awoke strange feelings deep within Hyunjin. Hyunjin was puzzled by these unexpected expressions of adoration. He questioned the limits of their relationship, bewildered by Christopher's impulsive behaviours yet attracted by the warmth they offered. When Christopher got close, his heart beat, leaving Hyunjin wondering about the nature of their bond. Even though he had previously been hasty and irresponsible with the older, he couldn't act the same way again.

Hyunjin contemplated the mystery of his feelings in the calm of their shared times. He found himself in a tangle of bewilderment and need, battling the unspoken tension that persisted between them. Hyunjin felt further bound as he struggled to comprehend his sentiments. His thoughts echoed with doubt, unable to determine whether he felt admiration, friendship, or something deeper for Christopher. It wasn't just the kisses or the hidden sentiments that Hyunjin realised were important; it was the connection that transcended labels and norms. Hyunjin and Christopher eventually confessed their truths in a time of calm vulnerability.

As they lounged together in the warmth of their cottage, Hyunjin felt an inexplicable urge to delve into the mysteries of their relationship. Christopher wrapped his arms around him, fingers weaving through Hyunjin's hair in fun, albeit inept, braids. Hyunjin expressed his uncertainty as he looked into Christopher's eyes.

"What are we, Christopher?" The question surprisingly escaped Hyunjin's lips.

Christopher responded nonchalantly, his gaze fixated on the task at hand, still absorbed in braiding. "I don't know," he muttered nonchalantly, eliciting a quiet sigh from Hyunjin, his hand lightly stroking his own cheeks in contemplation.

In an attempt to change the subject, Hyunjin inquired, "What do you imagine for the future, someday?"

Christopher's eyes twinkled with mischief as he remarked, "Mastering the art of braiding your hair flawlessly."

Hyunjin's lips curled into a tsk. "I'm serious," he said.

Christopher's tone softened as he laughed. "I don't have a specific plan. And how about you?"

"Initially, I dreamed of leaving the country, seeking freedom," Hyunjin admitted with a wistful smile. "But reality intervened; budgetary restrictions prevented me from moving forward."

Curious, "Do you still long for that?" Christopher said.

Hyunjin's response was genuine and filled with joy. "I still don't have the money." However, living in this house with you has provided me with an unfamiliar kind of happiness. I'm not looking forward to leaving."

Captivated by Hyunjin's words, Christopher ceased braiding, drawing Hyunjin nearer for an affectionate kiss. Hyunjin leaned forward, his arms resting on Christopher's shoulders, returning the loving gesture. A sense of clarity began to emerge within Hyunjin as their lips touched in a loving embrace. Their kiss lasted, not just as an expression of passion, but as a building to their relationship's unknown zone. In the presence of Christopher, Hyunjin's heart, which had before been a battleground of uncertainty, felt at ease. When Hyunjin broke free from the embrace, his gaze met Christopher's, and he saw an unsaid understanding mirrored in the elder's eyes.
