"No, no, I'm just curious. Did you get cast?""Chris." Hyunjin stated the name Christopher hadn't heard in years. "You are who you are now because you were turned. This is something I chose for myself." Finally, Hyunjin spoke up.
"Did I tell you I was turned?" Christopher stood up and wanted to get near Hyunjin. As he sat next to Hyunjin, the youngster looked at him, surprised.
Before Hyunjin spoke, there was silence. "I don't remember."
There was another pause before Christopher said. "Are you growing your hair?" He ran his fingers through the younger man's silky black hair.
"I haven't cut them in a while." With his eyes closed, Hyunjin responded.
"It suits you." Christopher trailed Hyunjin's jawline tenderly.
"Stop, whatever you are doing right now."
"What?"
"This, seducing me."
"It's working?" Christopher laughed.
"You could wish, little mosquito, but not today." Hyunjin returned the sneer.
"Wait, really? Being compared to a mosquito? I feel offended."
"Live with it." Before closing his eyes again, Hyunjin muttered.
"I'm just playing with you. However, I do require a favour." Christopher murmured this before lovingly kissing Hyunjin's forehead. Hyunjin immediately opened his eyes.
"What is it?"
Christopher grinned before explaining his needs; it would be difficult for Hyunjin to do it in three days, but he understood why it was necessary, so he accepted. Even while he wasn't physically capable of doing so because his powers weren't of that calibre, he knew someone who could. He remembered Julian right away. That afternoon, he addressed a letter to master Gilbert, inviting Julian to his home explaining the situation. Christopher seemed to have vanished following that conversation, since Hyunjin couldn't find him anywhere.
Julian, on the other hand, arrived quickly. The boy had never seen the city or the magnificent palace. He was astonished when he initially received the letter; he didn't anticipate Master Gilbert to let him go.He was amazed everywhere he went, and he was eager to visit other places.
"Hey, Sam, if you ever think about leaving your job, please refer to me." "Well, only after I finish my self-expedition." Julian replied with sparkling eyes while Hyunjin and he were conversing over tea.
"I wanna leave this job right now but I don't think I can." said Hyunjin. "What do you ever see so good about this place?" Hyunjin inquired.
"It's like a fairytale."
"You're literally an earth mage, dude. You could build hundreds of these castles." Hyunjin brought this up.
"You won't get it." Julian shook his head. "Also, I still do not understand a few words you say." He went on to say.
"Nevermind that, are we clear about the plan?" Hyunjin inquired.
"Yes, this is a piece of cake." Julian smiled.
"The event is in a day, let's-
"SAMUEL?!" Hyunjin's voice was cut off. "Oh my god, I haven't seen you in weeks." As he was practically sprinting towards the two, Elyot said.
"Young Lord." Hyunjin stated as he rose from his seat and bowed. Julian followed him, unaware of who the man in front of him was.
"Please don't do this. You're just showing off because we're outside." Elyot burst out laughing. Hyunjin blushed and scratched the back of his neck. "Who is this?" A friend?" Elyot inquired.
"From the tower, yes. Julian Leroy, meet Elyot. Meet Elyot Beauvarlet, Julian." Hyunjin elaborated.
"Hi." Elyot smiled.
"Oh my goodness! Young lord of Beauvarlet?!?" Julian nearly yelled. "I've heard a lot about you, sir! I didn't expect to meet you here." Julian exclaimed as Elyot appeared perplexed, but he only grinned.
"You have fans?" Hyunjin mocked.
"Sam, you never told me he was your friend." Julian stated while looking at Hyunjin.
"What? You don't tell anyone we're friends?" Elyot asked. "Also I am happy to hear that you know me by good." Julian, Elyot stated.
"Where have you been these days?" Hyunjin inquired.
"Would you like to know the truth? Then it won't come as a surprise." Hyunjin nodded his head to a yes, and Elyot laughed. "At the celebration, the king wishes to present the largest beast. I was preoccupied with my hands."
"Yikes, does he want a celebration or a burial." said Hyunjin.
"Beats me," Elyot chuckled. "Anyhow, I don't think I can sit here right now because I might get a call. I'll see you at the celebration party, Sam, and I hope to see you there as well, Julian." Elyot grinned and walked away. The rest of their conversation lasted till the evening. Julian arrived at his assigned room as the night fell, exhausted from the journey. Before returning to his room, Hyunjin decided to go for a walk in the garden. When he arrived in his room, the windows were slightly open, and Christopher was resting on the couch, much to his surprise.
"What have you done this time?" Hyunjin inquired as he removed his outerwear, but received no reaction from the elder, so he turned to face Christopher, who was seated on the couch at the time, his eyes as red as blood. In panic, Hyunjin raced towards the elder, but he was pulled in and forced down on the couch.
"Hey, what the hell?" Hyunjin yelled. But Christopher still didn't respond, like if he didn't have any sense. Christopher shoved Hyunjin further down the couch, attempting to choke him to the point where Hyunjin was struggling to breathe. He tried to break free with force, but his compassionate powers weren't enough against a vampire, and because everything happened so quickly, he wasn't prepared. He had no choice but to cast a magic on Christopher; it wasn't a powerful spell, but it was enough to make Christopher let go of his neck. Hyunjin sat up coughing and panting, but Christopher had rebalanced himself and attacked for the younger's neck once more. Christopher's keen fangs bit his neck before Hyunjin could cast another spell. Hyunjin squealed in pain for a moment, then felt blood pouring from his body; he tried to get free, but he was gradually losing consciousness. When it appeared that the elder was almost finished, he reached a breaking point. He unleashed a powerful spell that injured Christopher.
"Who are you?" As the elder was already injured, Hyunjin asked as he pressed his hand against Christopher's chest, shoving him to the ground. He cast another spell to keep Christopher from moving. There had been no response, but the elder's eyes were bright red. Hyunjin caressed the bite wound and healed it so that the pain was gone, but what had just occurred shocked him. After Christopher collapsed unconscious on the floor, Hyunjin debated whether or not to put Christopher on the bed, but after what he had just done to him, he felt he didn't deserve to be there.
Christopher awoke shortly, panting because he was still under the spell and couldn't move.
"Will you talk now?" Hyunjin inquired, approaching Christopher, who appeared perplexed.
"Can you tell me what happened? Why am I this way?" Christopher inquired.
"I should have asked you that. Why did you attack me earlier?"
"Attack you? Me? When?" Hyunjin mentally facepalmed as the elder didn't seem to remember what had happened.
"I'll let go of you, if you explain to me what you're up to. Why you were in my room and why did you bite me." Hyunjin said.
"Bite you?" Christopher seemed puzzled.
"If I die from anemia, it would be your fault."
"..... I'm sorry. What is anemia?"
"That you don't need to know. Now speak, why did you lose your senses? Your eyes were bloodshot red."
"Hyunjin..... it seems that I was under a spell."
