"Ro, could you please drive a little faster?" Anushka complained.
"Nah," Rohit firmly replied. "And stop being so obsessed with that guy. I don't understand what you see in him." Rohit rolled his eyes.
"I'm meeting him after a whole two months, okay?!" Anushka crossed her arms against her chest.
"So what?" Rohit asked, clearly not understanding her excitement.
"Why do you hate him so much?" Anushka asked, annoyed.
"Why do you love him so much?" Rohit retorted.
"He is my boyfriend," Anushka stated firmly.
"Whatever!" Rohit shrugged.
"By the way, what was the name of that annoying friend of yours?" Rohit asked. Anushka smirked.
"Ritsy?" she asked.
"Yeah, is she coming?" Rohit asked, trying to sound nonchalant, but how could anyone be normal around their crush?
"She's coming," Anushka replied with a laugh. "It seems like you're dying to see her."
"What's so special about her?" he blurted out.
"Everything," he replied to himself.
"You're never going to admit that you like her, are you?" Anushka teased him.
"I don't like her!" Rohit stated firmly.
"You love her?" Virat said from the back seat. Anushka high-fived him.
"When did you two become friends?" Rohit asked, surprised.
"We aren't!" they both said in unison, causing Rohit to laugh.
"Alright, we've reached the airport," Rohit announced as he parked the car.
Anushka didn't hear him at all; she had already jumped out of the car, rushing towards the airport.
Rohit and Virat followed behind her.
"You don't like Avi, do you?" Virat asked as they walked behind Anushka.
"Kind of," Rohit chuckled. "I'm her brother, so it's my right to dislike whoever she dates." Virat chuckled.
"Where's your Avi?" Rohit asked when they couldn't find him. Anushka didn't answer; she was too busy searching for him.
Finally, the boy who lit up her entire life, simply by existing, appeared. Anushka ran to him and hugged him tightly. Avi kissed her cheeks affectionately. They were so engrossed in each other that they forgot their surroundings. Anushka looked at Avi, her happiness beyond words.
"I missed you," she whispered, hiding herself in his arms.
"I missed you more," Avi replied with his heavenly voice and kissed Anushka again.
"Just don't forget that I'm here, okay?" Rohit said, looking anywhere but at them.
"They're meeting after two months; let them love each other," a voice came from behind, and now Rohit couldn't take his eyes off the most beautiful creature in the world.
"But who am I talking to? Rohit Sharma? The guy who knows nothing except food, sleep, and cricket?" Ritika said, while everyone laughed.
"I know everything, okay?" Rohit stated firmly. Virat leaned on his shoulder.
"You definitely love her. Look at how nervous you get around her," he whispered in Rohit's ear.
"Shut up," Rohit rolled his eyes.
"Oh, and wait, what is Virat Kohli doing with you?" Ritika asked.
"He's my friend, and we both got selected for the India A Team," Rohit said with a smile.
"That's a big deal, Ro!" Avi hugged him. "Congratulations!" he said, looking at Virat. Virat nodded with a smile.
"I'm your big fan, and I support RCB," Ritika said. "You're an amazing player!" she added, while Virat looked at Rohit. It was hard for him to contain his laughter as Rohit appeared visibly jealous.
"He's supposed to be the best. After all, he's my friend," Rohit said.
"Not just because he's your friend, but because he's a world-class player," Ritika said.
"Have you ever praised me like that?" Rohit said.
"Do you have anything worth praising?" Ritika smirked. Rohit was taken aback by her words; he didn't know how words slipped out of his mouth.
"Is there really nothing impressive about me?" he asked.
"I-I don't know," Ritika started walking towards the car, struggling with her bags. One of her bags fell, and Rohit went to help her.
"It'll take them an eternity to realize how much they love each other," Avi said as they followed them.
"They'll never grow up," Anushka laughed.
"Don't worry; I have a feeling they'll end up together soon," Virat said.
"Hope so!" Avi and Anushka said in unison before bursting into laughter. Virat felt like he was intruding on their private moment.
"By the way, I should leave now," Virat said to Anushka.
"Wait, we'll drop you off at your place," Anushka said.
"It's fine, I'm not going home. I have some work to do, so I should go now. Tell Ro I said bye." Virat walked away.
"Bye, Virat," Anushka called after him.

"When will you finally find a girl for yourself?" Saroj aunty asked, unable to contain her laughter, as Virat animatedly shared the story about Rohit and Ritika.
"Oh come on, Maa, you know I'm not into all this relationship stuff," Virat shrugged, playfully rolling his eyes.
His mother chimed in, joining the teasing. "You should give it a try at least, my dear. Who knows, you might fall in love effortlessly too!"
Virat let out a chuckle. "It's not as easy as it looks, Maa. Love just doesn't happen on command, you know."
"Look at you, all grown up and acting so mature!" his mother teased him with a mischievous grin.
"Maa!" Virat feigned a cry.
His mother looked at him fondly, her heart brimming with love. Sometimes, she wished there was someone special for her son, someone who would make him feel at home and complete him in every way.
